New Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Great Britain

I have ordered food from here before but never been in to eat. Anyway I have now been and the food is still as good inside as having it delivered can't really fault them on that.

However there really isn't any atmosphere in there a little light Chinese music playing people popping in to collect the food orders which is standard for most places and the delivery drivers collecting there deliveries which is a lot hench the food been good

This place have been here for ever but now dated and looks just like a takeaway from the outside and a little dated inside too I would say. There was people eating when we arrived but by 8.15pm there was only me and my wife left, there where tables on a back wall stacked cleaning stuff left out and boxes with a hoover on the floor.

If the other tables where put out would certainly look much better and must get the lights sorted very dark inside as most spot lights where off.

But regardless of the looks or atmosphere again it's about the food for me and was really nice so would recommend them if you...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered and it was arrived 15 minutes later, that should have been a warning in itself, definitely microwaved. Plated the food up, only to find pink chicken inside the fried rice, the lemon chicken was slimey and to top it off we got a nice side of hair in the middle of the noodles and lemon chicken.

Called, the guy seemed surprised didn’t offer a refund but offered to send more lemon chicken and fried rice, within 5 minutes i rang back to state I wanted the refund not more food, £42 pound was wasted tonight, the only decent thing was the salt n pepper chips, I managed to get a £20 refund from just eat however as the other items had nothing visibly wrong for picture evidence, I couldn’t get a whole refund. £22 pound for salt n pepper chips.

I made a telephone order to collect 20 minutes later. Unfortunately I hadn't anticipated the rugby match that was on that day which had just finished and therefore caused so much traffic. I walked into the Chinese and waited at the counter. A young male came out and said "hi. You're late......... is the traffic busy?" How dare you greet me this way! A normal 10 minute journey took me an hour. I'm disgusted with the customer service. I was fully aware the food would be luke warm by this point - this, I didnt mind and wouldn't be complaining about the temperature as it was out of everyone's control, I will however say that the chow mein was incredibly greasy.
