A Hidden Gem in Leicester – Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine!

This was my second time visiting, and I can confidently say this is one of the most underrated spots in Leicester. The food is absolutely brilliant and truly authentic, as it’s run by a welcoming Vietnamese family.

For starters, I had both the fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls – they were perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I tried the rare steak pho, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The broth was rich and comforting, making it an ideal choice for a cold day.

The value for money here is exceptional, and honestly, it’s better than Pho (the popular chain). There’s no long waiting time – you’re seated quickly, and the service is amazing. The lady who greeted us was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and kind, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Vietnamese food in Leicester, don’t miss out on this place. A great alternative and competitor to the repetitive chicken shop, Italian and Indian restaurants around the city. Let’s give them the recognition...

Having been lucky to visit Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi, this restaurant could happily be in either.

First, the pho - broth is outrageously good. Flavour and colour and smell just perfect. Asking I found out it's a 16 hour process!👌

The fresh spring rolls were my favourite over the fried. Succulent prawns and crispy salad with a subtle Peanut sauce. 😋

Banh mi were equally crunchy and packed with great ingredients in the right quantities.

This is undoubtedly the other best restaurant in Leicester for me now, alongside Mitsuki, for the quality of food and service. 👍

If you've not tried Vietnamese food, it's more about flavour than heat unlike some similar South Asian cuisines.

A minute from the clock tower down church gate, don't hesitate to visit here even if you are unfamiliar with that street.

We visited for dinner a few days ago, and can honestly say we were blown away by the quality of the food and service! The most authentic Vietnamese food, everything was top notch. Banh Mi and Pho are a must try. Very reasonably priced for the portion size too. You can really see the love that has gone into everything by the owner. Customer service was amazing, great food and drink recommendations. Our experience has been so amazing there we’ve been thinking of the meal all week and ready to go back. Not often you find such incredible little places such as this. Go support and eat a Banh Min for us too. I’ve tried chain places before and not been a fan, this truly changed my mind!
