Read moreI have lived in the UK for ten years, and this was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. It felt like a complete scam.
We were a group of four adults with two babies, excited to try the BBQ. However, after nearly 40 minutes of grilling, the meat was still raw. We asked the staff if there was an issue with the temperature and whether we could switch tables. Instead of giving us a clear answer, they went inside to ask other staff members. After another 10 minutes, they came back but still didn’t offer a solution, only adjusting the grill settings.
By this point, we had been waiting for nearly an hour and hadn’t eaten a single bite. The meat remained raw, with visible blood, and when I touched the grilling meat with my hand, it wasn’t even warm. Clearly, the grill wasn’t functioning properly!
We asked the staff three times about the temperature, but they just told us, “That’s how BBQ works, just wait.” Our babies were starving, and we were exhausted. Frustrated, we decided to leave. Since we hadn’t eaten anything, we expected a reasonable resolution. Instead, the staff insisted that we pay for the uncooked meat and even threatened to call the police!
We had no choice but to pay for something we couldn’t eat, just to end this terrible experience. This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to in the UK. Avoid it at all costs unless you want to pay for raw meat and be treated with...
Read moreFirst of all I will start with good thing which is a bone soup base (so good) but its a shame that meat quality is really bad for that price. I am Asian who loves hotpot so of course i do know what real good hotpot taste is. With that price, you could have improved your meat quality nearly like Hai di lao. Now it feels just a frozen meat bought from chinese grocery shop which many asian knows the taste. Not fresh meat but frozen which makes me so disappointed for that. The schecuan soup is just oil in water with chillies really. No taste .Another thing is the smell. I guess cleaning wasn't done properly so there is bad smell from the grill/hotpot area on the table which shouldn't be for this price. Lastly, the staff doesn't seem like enjoying his work. We have been there 2 times but we didn't feel like we were warmly welcomed. I wanted to point these because i do like your hotpot soup which is unique(bone soup) and i wish you would see my review and try to improve little more so that we can come back and eat. I gave it 2 star now because of above things especially meat and cleanliness...
