Savour — Restaurant in Great Britain

This restaurant is my number one comfort food in Cardiff. Yes, you heard me, numero uno out of all the Chinese restaurants I have been to in Cardiff, this one wins my heart, soul and mind.

During my three years of studies in Cardiff, I ate here more than I can remember off the top of my head. Loads of memories made here as well.

Without a doubt, the food here is so tasty and delicious it will literally send your weary soul to the heavens to meet God and back down to Earth as a renewed mortal. I don't know what I am saying here but it is just so indescribable. Enough said.

Whenever you feel down, rejected and heartbroken, just come here and order the braised pork belly, double cooked pork, salt & pepper squid and Mapo Tofu and your palate, stomach and soul will be rejuvenated. Basically anything on the menu and off the menu taste good,...

Don't be fooled by this restaurant's small demeanour and lack of decoration. It's a true authentic taste of china at the fraction of the price found elsewhere. The chef is an older Chinese lady who works from the back. They were clearly not used to seeing westerners in the restaurant, and there was some trouble in communicating in English, but please please persevere. The congee was beautiful but if you prefer something more western perhaps go for braised beef noodles. Truly perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you all...

Went during Lunar New Year day 1 (Feb 1) and was disappointed by the quality of the food and service. We had hot pot buffet for 20 pounds/pax. The restaurant kept telling us that the buffet food items we wanted were no longer available. What is the point of a buffet when you can't provide the promised food items? When we asked to refill our soup, the lady simply just brought out a kettle and added hot water instead of more soup! We were left stunned...
