Really disappointing and poor quality food!

Came here on Saturday night (by no means our first choice but with so many restaurants still closed and fully booked we had to make do)

Restaurant itself very pleasant and nice decor and staff quite welcoming at first, that’s pretty much where it ends!

Drinks arrived quite quickly which was pleasing, we ordered and were both quite shocked how quickly we received our dishes considering the restaurant was extremely busy and our worries were soon confirmed.

My girlfriend ordered the Szechuan chicken which she almost immediately regurgitated because of the poor quality poultry and after tasting it myself I almost did the same, very very poor.

The garlic, salt and pepper beef was so dry and overdone, definitely not fillet steak/beef as stated. The flavour was not displeasing but just so dry and not what we had expected or thought we’d be ordering.

I also had the Szechuan duck, this was the best tasting dish of the 3 and I thought the sauce/spicing was really nice but the meat quality was very poor and a large portion of this was unrendered duck fat.

A very underwhelming food experience, in all honesty we just wanted to leave but were then left waiting 20 minutes for the bill which didn’t come and were told we’d have to pay by the bar.

Would have given 1.5 stars if possible but google reviews still don’t allow that option!

Would not recommend in the slightest especially at the prices!

No better than a cheap...

First I would like to say the food was lovely when it all came out! Went for all you can eat Sunday lunch but they were not doing it instead they have 3 dishes for £7.50! (if you go for this please don't order to many in one go would recommend food as it was lovely) So we ordered 18 dishes to share the young lady read them back all ok. But 3 didn't come out straight away but the lady said that they wouldn't be a min. 15 min later one came then had to ask about the other two. When we asked what happened all the blame went back onto the young lady not writing it down which I would like to put across we don't blame her at all. The manager did sort of show what was written down but didn't want to let us have a good look. Manger if you read this there is no I in team you should never make a member of staff feel it was there fault when it wasn't 100 % hers I can guarantee that as 2 of the items that came out late where on that list. If the young lady who served us read this we where happy with the service you gave if you did forget to write down the rice don't worry as if the rice had been the only dish to come out late we could of just thought easy to miss one. All in all what made me upset is they seemed more bothered about the rice being not written down then the fact 3 things coming out so much longer after other had arrived. We were happy with the apology but it was the fact 3 items came out late which got us and we don't want the young lady to feel it was...

29 September 2019 at 18:00 me and my friends come to eat here ...Food very good if you're not gluten free however I am on a strict gluten-free diet as I have celiac disease.I found the staff very rude and not helpful at all . I asked if they had a gluten-free menu. The lady looked at me said no and told me to sit down. didn't even greet me or say hello or even a smile. I did ask to other ladies and none of them wanted to help just told me to wait. So i sat there waiting .. my friends had a menu and choosing what they wanted to eat. A gentleman who was the waitress come to the table and was quite angry and aggressive asking me what I wanted to eat and that they will cater it. So I ordered egg fried rice sweet and sour pork and made it clear to the gentleman I can't have soy sauce or Worcester sauce he said no no no no it won't be put in. I then got served my food.. I started eating 10 minutes in of eating I was all bloated out in pain ....I do not believe that they did not put soy sauce or Worcester Sauce in the food and I do not believe the food was gluten free I have been badly ill for the last 24-hours and I'm very very upset. please anyone with any allergies or gluten-free please be very careful in this restaurant because the staff don't care... also extremely expensive for what you get. not worth it we were so hungry my partner had to get something to eat on the way back.
