TL;DR Do yourself a favor and go to topkappi. It was sooo GOOD! Some of the absolute best shish I've had. Def get chili AND garlic sauce + veg. I got the med sz chicken shish it was is more than enough and large is good for two. The staff are very kind and helpful their suggestions were to get the shish chicken, both sauses and the veg.

Visiting from the states, I took a nap and didn't go to dinner with my partner but when I woke up I walked down to inverness center to meet him, his dinner was so bad he don't eat (smash burgers are not the same thing here) after being burned he asked an adorable chap for recommendations he gave us two, we went to the Blackfriar, sat for about 40 min before our drink order was taken, they warned us so that was fine but at about 1hr 15min in and we still didnt no drinks we left. we went to the other place the gent suggested, Topkappi. I’ve been a regular to this place for years. And the service has always been good and have made friends with some of the employees. But for the first time ever, I’ve been treated horribly. Me and my girlfriend ordered food from this place at around 11pm because we know that they make decent food. We’ve waited for about 30-40mins which is understandable but at around 12:50am we’ve received a call from the delivery guy. He was claiming that he could not find our place even though other delivery guys have been able to in the past. I was on a call with him for about 5-10mins and during that call he was saying nothing but blaming me because he couldn’t my place. He also suggested that me or my girlfriend should go and see him at a spot which is around 5min walk from our place and pick up the food we ordered in which we paid £5 delivery for. Keep in mind, this was around 1am now. Not only was he not being understanding, impatient, showing off, and claiming that he’s the owner of the shop, he was also willing to compromise our safety all because he had “5 other deliveries” to make. He also told me that I should come to the shop tomorrow so he can refund me the money AND ban me from ever going to their shop. If we don’t get our money back at the very least by tomorrow. Ordered food on Sunday at 18:15 through JUSTEAT. Said it would be delivered at 19:05. Added ten minutes to my time. All fine. 19:35. No order. Phoned them a few times, no answer. Checked the JUSTEAT page, now it says they are not delivering until MON 12:45. So I guess I'm not getting my food. Just something to watch out for if ordering on Sunday evening.

Food arrived 20:10. Had already ordered from another takeaway, so sent the delivery back with apologies to the driver (as it's not his fault). Food was over an hour late so I don't think this is unreasonable. Literally called them seven times to ask where the order was earlier but no one answered.

Got through to someone to tell them I received the order but sent it away because I had ordered from somewhere else. He abruptly hang up the phone. Called back and explained the situation, he listened then hung up again.

TLDR: In summary, don't order from these guys. The food is cheap, but terrible quality and the service in general is just horrendous. No customer care skills and I'm surprised they are still in business (from a takeaway perspective). Hope this...
