Am I too demanding? I would just like to get what I pay for. As a reminder, 2 adults and 2 children. 2 kids menu Garlic bread, pizza, ice cream and apple juice. Garlic bread, pasta bolognaise, ice cream and orange juice. Spicy sausage + red wine Chicken Milanese + red wine So, let's go. looking back to the photos, all looks good and well cooked. At first, as usual order taken and served quickly with drinks and kids starters. First bad point, the garlic bread was plastic. A bite and it doesn't cut. You have to scrub it. Second, the wait. Did we ordered so special that our meals need to be prepared and cooked for so long. It would have taken us more than one hour wait if we didn't ask. Just when we left a note was at the door saying that due to shortage in staff the wait would be longer than expected. Third and the worst, a hair in the Milanese. I was exhausted, it cut appetites. I said to myself it wasn't worst to waist any more time in there to ask for another hour. Are the sieved light another way to mask the food freshness? I think so. I thought my previous experiences within Bella Italia was isolated. Unfortunately I strongly feel that there's no proper chef. And all can be for chopping frozen pizza, boiling pasta and reheat sauce. To whom it may concerns. Dom

I were here two times. I have got sticky, not clean table. I called the waiter several times, who was not far from me, he simply ignored. When the waitress came up, to whom I ordered along with tea, I asked her, maybe I could change the table, because this one looks not clean and sticky. She said that I could not change the table (restaurant were half empty) and that the table is clean, but if I want, she could clean it for me. Then she began to wash this table and washed only 2/3 of the table, leaving the sticky part on my side. I was not very pleased. But the order, I already made, so I had to wait for it. I ordered pesto Genovese, caramelized onion flatbread, sweet potato fries and camomile tea. Sweet potato fries was ok, but too dry. Caramelized onion flatbread were tasty, but a little greasy. Importantly, the underside was not burnt, as often happens in other places. Pesto Genovese was not tasty for me. Camomile tea was ok. Second time i was with friend and i ordered - steamed spinach, pizza vegetariana and black tea with milk. Steamed spinach wad tasty. Thank you. Pizza vegetariana was tasty but i were still hungry. Black tea with milk was ok. I ordered twice pea and asparagus risotto but it is wasn't available.

Lovely Italian dining in the heart of Inverness Bella Italia in Inverness is a fantastic spot for a relaxed, quality meal. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and overall it made for a really enjoyable dining experience. A special mention to our server, Gabriel, whose passion for his job truly stood out — he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and his friendly, attentive service made a real difference. We had the mushrooms and meatballs to start — both were full of flavour and beautifully seasoned. The mains were just as impressive — cooked to perfection and absolutely faultless. Having visited several Bella Italia locations across England and Scotland, I’ve consistently found their food and service to be of a high standard, and this Inverness branch certainly lived up to that. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Great food, good service, reasonable price

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned, but decided to give Bella Italia a chance for a special meal. I am very glad I did! Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent. One special note: either the host, or the wait staff asked each customer if they had a food allergy - a great safety move.

I ordered the traditional lasagna, and it was one of the best I have had, even when I was a university student in Italy 50+ years ago.

This restaurant is very popular with the locals. If you are planning to dine after 6 30 p.m. on the weekend, I would very strongly recommend calling ahead for a reservation.

Some of the other reviews had questioned the price value. My only response is that the cost of meal was considerablely less than I paid for a hamburger at my hotel 1000 feet away yesterday.

Notes for disability patrons:. There is a ca. 10 cm step up from the street. A large part of the seating area is two steps up from the main floor. When making your reservation, be sure to request a...
