Espresso Corner — Restaurant in Kirklees

Came in and had beans on toast and a Chutney Toastie - which were both great. I also had a coffee with was strong and really hit the spot on a rainy day. Liked the vibe and enjoyed the overall experience.

Spoke with the person behind the counter about reviewing the cafe and the photo's I'd taken and overall left with a positive impression. A week later called and spoke with an owner or manager who outright gave me grief for reviewing on a new platform without their permission. Real bummer as besides the communication it really was a 5-star experience...it was just the call a week later that left...

Superb little corner cafe in EVERY respect. They have delightful little tasty cakes and a plethora of drinks for sale (plus hot food). Prices are more than fair - in fact I would say below the usual expensive prices other cafe's charge. The added bonus is the male staff members who work there are pure eye-candy. The main staff member is a young male with short hair and a spiky fringe. He is gorgeous. And his assistants are smiley and lovely to talk to.

I will continue spending here for a long while yet and I only PRAY it remains open considering most cafe's in...

Went for breakfast with friends. Lovely little place and very friendly and welcoming staff. Limited menu choices for breakfast. The granola was excellent and very generous portion. The toast was too well done unfortunately and the bacon sandwich was good but again the bread too well toasted which made for some sharp eating. Lovely coffee and atmosphere. Chilled tap water was a very nice, and unusual detail that elevated this to a 4.5 if I could give that. Would recommend - but maybe...
