Absolutely appalling This is one of my regular places to eat however I will never visit again through a matter of principle. A few things went wrong when we visited earlier this week:

We went with our children and were given a table right at the back where it was dark dingy dirty (where I had to ask the waiter to sweep up as if she was blind and couldn’t see the mess - I was relecutant to even put my bag on the floor let alone sit and eat there) and cold but I though oh well the food will make up for it

We placed our order at 7:25pm. I went over at 7:45pm to query our order as it hadn’t arrived. I asked what’s the delay as surely it’s only chicken you making. The manager told me the delay is due to us having ordered livers . � yep okay so chicken livers take 20 mins go make.

At 7:55pm still no food. Our children were upset and extremely hungry. The tables sat next to us who arrived after us - a group of 4 rugby players and group of 6 work colleagues. Ordered after us and had almost finished. So I went back to the kitchen area and the manager again told me two mins.

Our food arrived at 7:59pm. The chicken was that dry that we drank so much water that couldn’t finish our food. The chicken livers which were the reason for the delay in our food !!!! Had no sauce and were almost burnt. It was as if the food has been prepared at a very high heat or left under the gantry. Shocking.

Luckily I took a picture of the staff as they put the food down. The so called manager came over to our table said the food from order being placed to arriving on our table was 25mins. Excuse me!!!! I was showing him our receipt and a pic of the food arriving on our table which was time stamped but he wasn’t interested. We waiter a total of 34mins.

We paid £64 for two adults and three children and that’s the last time we will go to nados in Huddersfield appalling. Telling us we are lying treating us like we havent paid for our meal. The manager told us he’ll come over before we leave. Well guess what the lying sod didn’t think we were important enough to come over cos he was too busy entertaininga party of 20 upstairs. I start by saying I do go a lot to Nando’s but when I came to this one I fort nothing would be different but I ghess I was wrong there. The place is ok but when we got our food was a full meal platter for 2 and a chicken fillet in pitta with salad the chicken when it came looked abit crispy the skin did but fort it would be ok so me and my wife and 2 children diged in then when we got home first my wife said she not feeling good her stomach is hurting and went to the wc then after 10 mind same thing happen to me and then one of my kids then next day my wife fell really ill and also child number 2 became ill aswell also I had a bad stomach so please this is to everyone of the chicken skin looks crispy the be cearful I will personally nether go to Nando’s again in my life now just can not risk my life and my family’s life’s also hope that the HR and the Owner of Nando’s read this thank you
