I'm not from morecombe and my phone had died and I lost my boyfriend when walking down the wrong street and he had my purse as I tend to loose it. I explained this to the staff on the door and asked for help as I was panicking as it was very late and everywhere was closing and I wasn't from the area. I asked them to call the police or if they would be able to charge my phone so I could contact my boyfriend. They refused to help and stated they were closing so wasn't there problem. Went in recently for a pint with my partner as we had a bit of time to kill. As she was driving I asked if they sold coffee but the lass behind the bar told me they didn't. After we sat down she asked my partner if shed like a black coffee but my partner declined. 5 minutes later she brought over a coffee with milk as she'd nipped out to buy a pint..and she wouldn't take any money for it. Very friendly, very clean and you will always see the barmaids doing something (behind the bar cleaning) always wearing mask but there is one that is excempt as I know this I'm a regular.
