La Besi Restaurant — Restaurant in Leeds

We were going to a gig in the lending room so booked a table at La Besi for 5pm. We were the only ones there for a while then it soon got quite busy. We took our own wine as they’re not licensed. I had the calamari starter & husband had the anti pasto mixed starter, both really good and generous portions. I had the seafood linguine & husband had the linguine with meatballs. Both had a lovely rich tomato sauce, plenty of prawns in mine and a nice hum of chilli. I tried the meatballs which were great. Finished off with a gorgeous tiramisu, my only bugbear was the squirty cream, I’d have preferred a drizzle of single or double cream. So... my family ordered me a takeaway through Hungry House while I was in Leeds on contract. The driver arrived and handed me two bags and a pizza box - nice! I opened the pizza box and ate a slice before opening the bags to find a seafood linguine. Sat down to eat. Phone rings. It's the driver. "Why did you take the pizza? It's not yours. I'm outside." Sure enough, he's knocking at the door and proceeds to tell me off for him stuffing up the order. "Don't you know what you ordered?" Well, no, my wife and kids ordered it for me as a surprise. This isn’t even worth a star! Unfortunately too be able to place a review a star is needed. Firstly i was contacted by delivery driver and told he was outside with my order! Which is reality meant, half way down the street and clearly unable to knock on a door! So I had to go get food from driver! £2 charges for delivery to my house, which didn’t happen. Then after spending £35! 4 items of food. The food was disgusting and tasteless and resulted in the bin! This was after 2bites!
