Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Little Stanney

My mum and my sister visited yesterday and we go there regularly so we feel used to the usual work standard of how they operate in Starbucks. We ordered 3 drinks and the guy who ordered them for us was lovely. The girl who was making the drinks on the otherhand was moody and didn't interact with customers at all. She didn't shout names out, nor what the drink was so we didn't know which drinks were ours or if they were someone else's. And when or if she did shout, she would just shout a name without saying what drink, or it was the other way around by naming the drink and not the customer. And usually the typical script is the name of the drink, followed by the customers name. We asked her if they were our drinks and she nodded like she wasn't bothered who had who's drinks. We ended up with someone else's drinks so my mum had to go back and sort it out. The girl didn't want to help with our questions and ignored the fact that she knew she did a wrong order. She wouldn't own up an didn't look at anybody. She kept her back to everyone. My mum didn't want to bother with her service in the end. In the end the guy who served us made the correct drinks for us and we see him regularly there and he's usually happy, but he looked really frustrated yesterday. The girl also got another set of drinks wrong straight after us and didn't own up to it, so the guy had to constantly pick up the pieces. We love that Starbucks and we want to keep having relaxed...

Quite disappointed in my visit. Rarely get a Starbucks due to either pricing, or just generally not a coffee lover, however I do enjoy their Strawberries and Cream. The gentleman on the till was pleasant enough however I could hardly hear him due to the plexiglass, facemask and loud ambience. Not saying they should get rid of the masks or glass as I think they are for the benefit of staff and customers, just that maybe the music in the store needed to be reduced. We ordered 2 Strawberries and Cream and were made in the same blender, however here lies the issue. One cup got plenty of strawberries and cream and the other was just cream which was really really disappointing. We were going to sit outside and enjoy our drinks however all tables that weren't occupied were covered in dirty mugs and plates, and considering there was about 5 staff that I counted and only us needing a drink I don't know why the tables were left in such a state. It was a bit busy when I visited but Starbucks are masters at quick and efficient service. There were literally 5 staff all behind the counter: one on the till, 2 baristas, one stock checking and one emptying bins. Despite all the staff the place was a mess, not one table was clean and even the areas for making coffees were messy. Every type of milk was out, all the taps were running, the bins were out, rubbish was left on the service counter. I've never seen a Starbucks that messy and yet it's not the busiest I've been to. This Starbucks isn't very big and they've put all the seating in one area so it makes it difficult to navigate out when you're just getting a takeout coffee. The reason for 2 stars and not 1.
