I have to say we were not impressed by the service considering they say they are fine dining. We booked the luxury afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary. We arrived, with another group shown to our seperate tables. When we sat down the table looked really bare, which I thought was odd. The waiter came explained everything then we sat there for 10 mins, even the group that walked in with us had been served drinks and food. They asked if we wanted water, and they bought a bottle out We finally got the food, and was not impressed with the sandwiches, turkey and cranberry tastes just like you'd make boxing day from the left over turkey, nothing special, the prawn cocktail brioche, had a strip of thick sauce down the middle and literally looked like they just sprinkled a few very chopped up prawns on it, all you could taste was the bun. The cakes were OK, but the mouse semi fredo was warm as if it had been sat for a long while so didn't taste nice, and the cheesecake had part melted again due to being left out of the fridge. We had to ask for our tea and nobody bothered to come and check on us. While waiting for the tea, I notice them set up another table for afternoon tea, it had cups , plates, flowers, spoons and a menu, nothing like we had, we just had plates and cutlery. I went and spoke to the manager to point out our table wasn't set like that, and it was disappointing as it was our anniversary, and also the bottle of water was £6!! I said if we had been told it was that much for water I would of declines it, and we should of been told! They just looked at me, said thank you for the feedback, sorry the table should of been set up correctly! That was it, when they came to take the bill I asked for the service charge to be taken off, as was not happy. The manger then comes over and says she will take the service charge and water off for us. We were so disappointed and I have to be honest I have had better afternoon yeas...

I had such high hopes for this place after reading all of the good reviews, but it just wasn't as good as it should've been 🫤 The location and foot are excellent 👍 but the Service was a bit of a shambles 👎 I visited for a Business Lunch with a colleague who was over from the USA. We had a great table with stunning views 😎 Then the Service problems started...we had booked a Lunch Menu but we were given Dinner Menus (it was 13:30) On asking the Waiter to change the Menu, this took him 10 minutes to resolve 🤦‍♂️. Then it took about 10 mins to order drinks, another 5 mins to order food. When the food arrived (which was within a normal wait 👍) it was REALLY good 👍 Great presentation, great ingredients and tasted lovely 😎 As we were running a bit late (and my colleague had to catch a train to London), we asked if we could get Dessert straight away. Nothing arrived and it took about 10 mins to get a Waiter's attention (they seemed busy serving Afternoon Teas). We waited another 5 mins and had to ask again, this time we asked if we could just get the Dessert to go. This took another 10 mins of them faffing around and nobody actually undertaking the task 🤦‍♂️ A couple of other things about the staff which need improving - One of the Waiters repeatedly apologized for some of his lack of knowledge & his slowness/delays, based on him having "only worked there for 3 days". That shouldn't be something I need to know, he just needed training properly. Also, some of the none-Waiting Staff congregated by the Bar/Toilets chatting for long periods of time, blocking the way and paying no attention to Customers who wanted to get past them 👎 It did put a real tarnish in the experience, I was there 'showing off' what should be a Gem of a Liverpool Restaurant and this aspect just let the Restaurant down 👎 I still think it's a great place to eat, and whilst it is pricey, it is well worth it 👍 I will return, but please sort...

I will share my personal experience and views : I booked a table for us with a Sunday Menu. It was for a 5 years wedding anniversary. I made a comment in the booking saying we have a 5 years anniversary exactly on the date of the booking and it would be great if they could arrange for us any little surprise and I am happy to pay extra for this. After the booking, I even called them and double checked with them and they assured me that they will take care of it and I don't have to worry about it. And also that it will be complimentary. Okay, happy days, so I thought. Sunday came, we got a poorly positioned corner awkward table, we're like, okay, we're not lucky, what can we expect for a fine dining, right. But then there was no surprise, NOTHING. Absolute joke this place is. They missed the most important thing for me. For me this was an epic fail. I'm not even mentioning staff climbing under the tables to turn on some LED lights. The led lights under our table were not working so they gave us a led table lamp, it was filthy full of dust. Honestly, such a mixed place this is. There are some good sides, presentation of food is great, ingredients are very decent as well, but some meals are extremely blend, no taste, or on the other hand, super salty as hell. Desserts too sweet. We will certainly not come here ever again. The view is certainly the best part of this restaurant, otherwise it's totally not worth the money. I did not pay the 10% service fee as I was not happy at...

Just WOW! I am rarely blown away by restaurants these days which is sad to admit but Nathan, David and Lubos were exceptional today. I took Mum for a pre Mother’s Day lunch and it was outstanding. We went for the smaller lunch menu but honestly I could have chosen another four or five dishes they were so appealing. I had the soufflé and Mum had the mackerel to start. They were sublime. My soufflé was delicate and light…Mum’s mackerel succulent, clean and refreshing with the cool compressed cucumber. Mum continued with fish for her Main with the Sea Bream which was apparently “just stunning” and beautifully cooked. It was so tasty that despite the generous portion it evaporated rapidly! My chicken was incredible. The chestnut mushroom purée a fabulous accompaniment to chicken mousse and breast. It was all washed down with a cheeky English sparkling rosé and a light Albariño. For dessert Mum had the chocolate parfait and we both shared the English cheese board. David is an excellent host and very knowledgeable about food and wine. He paired our cheese board with a lovely 2003 Port. Lubos was our attentive waiter and made sure Mum felt it was a special occasion. And as for the head chef, Nathan Booth, he is a Svengali. Producing a meal that rivalled Sean Rankin at Grantley Hall. Thank you so much to everyone at Panoramic 34. We had such a special time and we will be back. Very, very soon.
