Great value restaurant with excellent food. For lunch, I had a whole grilled Sea Bass and Chips with a lovely side salad for £13.50. The fish was a good size and very nicely cooked by someone who knew what they were doing. Great value.

Good service from a friendly young person at the till. I went in for a fry up which looked very good, but I had a feeling that the fish was gonna be great and i was right.

Atmosphere: It was very quiet, but it's nicely decorated and I suspect that it comes alive in the evenings. I had a late one the night before, so the peace and quiet worked for me.

Will try the grilled meats next time in Liverpool.

I’ve been coming here for a few years (on and off). It’s always been a super affordable option for a bite to eat. Today we came in and found a new menu that makes me question if we’ll visit again.

The prices have REALLY shot up! A classic beef burger (single with chips) has gone from £4 to £6. I know we are in the middle of period of inflation but a 50% price increase is just greedy. Same for cold drinks and numerous other items on the menu.

Just a word of warning for anyone who used to pop in for a cheap bite to eat. It’s a shame as the food is still lovely. Just a bit shocked at how much everyone...

Lovely cafe, great decor, very tastefully done. Atmosphere was good with clean spacious and comfortable seating areas. We ordered eggs royal, the first attempt was overdone poached eggs, the second was a little under with ‘snotty’ eggs. This was not the best but the service was good. The hot chocolate was very tasty. The portion of the full English was good too. After our meal I think it was the owner who gave us a complementary backlava cake, this was a lovely touch to end our breakfast.
