I have been to this restaurant a number Ber of times, but not for some time, until last night. It is still the beautiful, calm place I remember. From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and helpful. We had the banquet b for 2 people, and I couldn't recommend it enough. A generous amount of food on each course and the highest quality of Indian food you could ask for. The staff do not over ask if everything is OK, nor do they wait till you have a mouth full until they ask. The lamb chops were my favourite on the starter. My daughter is not a fan of lamb, yet said she could have ate 10 of them. Thr naan bread was piping hot and as fresh as you can get. We were served by a lovely girl called Neha, who was more than helpful. We brought home the food that was left over, i wouldn't have slept that night ifni hadn't as I'd be devestatedni had missed out, haha. It filled up as we ate but was still not overly busy or noisy. If you appreciate traditional Indian food, you will love this place. And if you haven't tried it but want to, you really should go here. I was so pleasantly surprised at the bill at the end. Even with a tip, I felt I had more than had my moneys worth. Once finished eating, they provided warm wet towels to use, without the need to ask.

Visited last night and WOW. We have never been here before but will most definitely be returning again soon. The decor inside is wonderful, very traditional, clean and beautiful. The toilets are spotless, chairs are comfy and the smell around the place is amazing. The staff were all so attentive, they went above and beyond for us. Food and drink recommendations were offered, which we took, and we were extremely satisfied. We had poppadoms, a mixed meat sharing starter, fruity rice, butter chicken, lamb passander and a garlic naan bread. I've never tried butter chicken before and it was unreal, it will definitely be my go to from now on. You could tell the chefs were professionals, as the taste was amazing. The chef even came out to visit us, which was a lovely touch. We also ordered a gin, and a pina colada which were just as amazing. The staff were rushed off their feet with it being a fully booked Saturday evening, but as previously mentioned, they were so helpful, friendly and professional. It's so good to have a traditional tandoori restaurant in the heart of Liverpool City centre, and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you!

I went to Sultan’s Palace on Saturday 11th May with my parents for our evening meal. It was a really awesome end to our day out in Liverpool, and I can’t wait to go back. 😊

We went at 5:00 PM when they first open for the evening. All of the staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly from the second we walked through the door, to when we left at the end of our meal. They also were helpful and offered me a bit of guidance such as guiding me up the little step in the restaurant, as I am visually impaired.

This was my first visit here. My parents have been a few times, however, I would absolutely recommend dining here if you are out in Liverpool.

I had the chicken Jalfrezi which I asked for with extra spice, as I have always loved very spicy cuisine from a very young age! I had a side of ridge cut chips with that instead of rice, and we also had poppadoms to start with a chutney tray which contained a selection of different chutneys to choose from with onion and cucumber salad to go with them. My Mum also had the chicken Jalfrezi made with extra spice, and we both also shared a bottle of Prosecco, and to top it off, we both had a little bottle of Prosecco as well.

Dad also really enjoyed his food. He went for the fish Buna.

I was also really made up to bump into one of the staff who works at my old school who I recognised almost immediately. That brought back all of the great memories which I will never forget, as I went to a school for the blind in Liverpool for seven years and saw her every day, and I left school severn years ago.

All of the food and drinks we had were absolutely amazing, and I can’t fault it at all. The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful. It has been described to me as having arches which makes it look like a royal Indian palace. 😊 The restaurant was quiet at first, as we were the first people there, but then it got quite busy, so it’s very popular. Sultan’s Palace is also one of the very best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. From the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the food and drink, the traditional Indian classical music playing in the background and the traditional Indian decor.

Thank you for everything, and I hope to come...

Terrible food. Really really disappointed. Was expecting a lot better as I read so many positive reviews online. Food was poor quality, cold and everything tasted like it had been thrown in the microwave. Attempted to eat the food I left the majority of it as it was bland and tasted like a microwave meal. A complete waste of £40. Rice was cold, like everything else. Ordered extra poppadoms, but my order only came with one poppadom crushed up to tiny crumbs. Paid for extra poppadoms which weren’t received. Also Forgot the chutney tray and when I called to complain said I would receive a complimentary item next time when ordering. Don’t understand how they will do this when you can only order off just eat/Deliveroo. Won’t be ordering again anyway. Seekh kebab was cold and not cooked properly. Horrible raw pink colour inside and wouldn’t touch as i’m pregnant. I’ve had better Chicken tikka masala microwave meals. The chicken in both tikka massala and rogan josh was chewy and not soft. Paid £3 for a tiny portion of crinkle cut chips which weren’t even cooked properly. And the garlic nan had a weird background taste - shouldve just got plain. Most definitely wont be ordering again and really disappointed. Also came in about 20 minutes of ordering which seemed too good to be true as it is at least a 10 minute drive. Really disappointed and was expecting...

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Sultan's Palace. We were greeted by a friendly and polite staff member who showed us to Our Table after confirming our booking. The Restaurant is beautifully decorated and we felt like Sultan's in the Surroundings with it's ornate lighting and decoration and attentive & warm, friendly service. We had a Korma Curry each with 2 portions of rice with mushrooms both were truly Delicious and Freshly cooked and prepared, We got a good size portion that filled and satisfied us both, We also had One Delicious and Very Flavoursome Garlic Naan Bread which we had with a Mango Lassi which was so yummy we could have drunk more. The waiters who took Our Order was very knowledgeable and advised us when we Asked Over portion sizes etc, He a helpful young man was very helpful & indeed all the staff made our visit a True Pleasure. I truly recommend you visit, the food is absolutely delicious and I believe though slightly more expensive than the average Indian Restaurant it is WELL WORTH IT! You only get what you pay for and the food, service and ambiance were top class! We will DEFINITELY be back Again and soon. Cannot Recommend Sultan's Palace Enough! The Number One Place in Liverpool for Indian Food if your after Authentic Indian/Tandoori Food! 100% Worth every...
