🇬🇧 Liverpool | Queuing for Brunch from Manchester! 🍽️✨

My wife and I went here for breakfast the other week whilst in Liverpool. Apparently an award winning breakfast. Although which place isn’t award winning these days. It’s a walk in only so we had to wait 20 mins or so outside before we got a table. The wait was certainly worth it. Despite the restaurant being busy there was just enough space and it wasn’t too crammed. The staff were very pleasant, polite and professional throughout our dining experience. Instead of printout menus, they provide iPads which is quite unusual but I suppose they save paper. They have a good selection on the menu but my wife and I went for the full English which was cheaper than I thought it might. Although if you wish to double up your breakfast it’s an extra £9. Coming in at £12.9 as standard. For drinks the wife got a hot chocolate and I got a smoothy (can’t remember which one). The service was quite quick and it wasn’t before too long our grub was without our grasp. The food itself was great. Everything was cooked perfectly. Beans on a separate dish, just how the Mrs likes it. My wife doesn’t like black pudding so they offered another hash brown instead. Hot chocolate was quite nice. The smoothy wasn’t my favourite. It was just a bit too sour for my liking. In summary, despite the relatively long wait we enjoyed our dining experience. Food was good, service was faultless and all at fairly reasonable price.

This is a charming and cosy breakfast spot that serves delicious food made with quality ingredients. You will notice that the entrance is adorned with Christmas tree decorations giving the place a very edgy, fringy and chic vibe. The interior, on the other hand, is cosy and homely, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast menu offers something for everyone and you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend the pancakes, which were cooked to perfection, and my mum loved her scrambled eggs on toast, which the chefs were happy to make for her even though it was not on the menu. We even saw the eggs being delivered, so I can vouch that they were locally sourced and not supermarket eggs. The coffee is also worth mentioning. My latte was smooth and creamy, just how I like it, while my mum's black coffee gave her the kick she needed to start her day. The service we received was exceptional. Vanessa, Hannah and Susie were the sweetest and had a positive energy that made our morning. They were attentive, friendly and accommodating which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend Dale Street Kitchen. If you're looking for a cosy breakfast spot with delicious food, quality ingredients and exceptional service, then this is the place for you.

What a simply devine lickle gem this place is. I called in today for some brunch as my usual spot was jam packed. I'm extremely glad I did! I had my usual go-to brunch, eggs Benedict with a cheeky bloody Mary. I'll start with the food, cos the cocktail was on another level entirely. The eggs were perfectly poached, more than enough yoke... ORANGE yoke at that and the hollandaise was mwah. Mwah is about as far as I could describe it. As a le cordon bleu trained chef myself I -know- how temperamental that can be to pull off, but honestly, it was like something my tutor threw together on day one all those many moons ago! It was lovely. I'd have preferred more than toasted thick bread (I couldn't call it toast, cos it wasn't your average toast) but that's me being picky. That being said there was a fabulous egg, salmon, toast & spinach ratio. Now... The bloody Mary. I've been drinking these since heavens knows when, and this was hands down the best I can honestly say I think I've ever had. A little on the soicey side for my taste, but I didn't actually say easy on that so my bad. It was lush, and whatever it was that gave it a slight floral top note was surprising, but in the best way possible. The service was fab too, I felt attended too (but not overly so) and the general vibe of the place is rather swish. I'm definitely going to be back. I just hope I'm not my usual libran indecisive stick-with-what-you-know self and try something new. Also, that orange juicer is a bit like me... mental... It had me staring at it for a good...
