A good restaurant that I dined at for quite a few times. Most recently, I tried their Sayted Chicken With Spicy Sauce, Pork Ribs Hot Pot, Salt And Pepper King Prawn, Pan Seared Green Chilli Pepper. Each dish catered to my taste preferences exceptionally well. The standout for me was the Sayted Chicken With Spicy Sauce. While I've tried similar dishes elsewhere, this restaurant's version stood out as the most flavourful to me. When asked about the “secret”, the owner mentioned using fresh chicken sourced daily from the market, often opting for corn-fed free-range chicken. This freshness reflected in the dish. The Pork Ribs Hot Pot’s portion is quite large, and perfect for sharing between two people with an additional vegetable dish. It featured shrimp, tofu, and other ingredients, with a rich and concentrated broth that felt really tasty, perhaps owing to the collagen from the meat. The Pan Seared Green Chilli Pepper had just the right level of heat for my Sichuan palate, while the Salt and Pepper Prawns were nicely seasoned, and the addition of spring onions further improved the flavours. Overall, personally I think this restaurant does a good job on taste, freshness, and generous portion sizes, making it a great place for authentic Chinese cuisine. I’d...

I got to pay a visit to Hans restaurant in West London.
What we had and thoughts. 🐟Sweet sour seabass - this was nice however found too much batter, which over powered the seabass, but it was meaty and fresh. £24.90 🍲Braised beef pot - nice with abit of spice, beef was super soft and really tasty. This would go well with boiled rice alone. £16.80 🐖Braised pork belly - this was really good, the pork was super soft and fatty that melts in your mouth, plenty of flavour £11.90 🫓Pumpkin cake - this was pretty decent, it's sticky, squiggy, sweet and tasty-£7.80 🍲Steamed rice in clay pot - this was OK however lacked the crispy bottom considering it's clay pot rice dish £13.80 🍜Cold Noodles with soya bean sauce - this was my least favourite as it didn't have any flavour £8.20
Overall the food was pretty decent, the restaurant decor has an authentic feel with a few tables. Staff was friendly.
They have hotpot option, aswell as crab pot which I wouldn't mind coming back to try these dishes.
If you are near the area and looking for sichuan restaurant then why not check Hans restaurant out.

Read moreHan Restaurant, overall, was alright. It’s probably the best restaurant for Coconut Chicken hotpot, so that’s what I had and I have to agree it’s really good. The soup base is from 5 whole coconuts, which is impressive seeing as it’s hard to get here in the UK.
We also had the Crab Meat Hotpot with crab claws and chicken meat, which I also really liked because I’m a seafood lover. I would recommend both dishes if eating with a large group, but we couldn’t finish both of them! The portions were generous, and you can always order more meat to cook with the coconut soup.
The clear noodles in sesame oil was just alright, I liked the sesame and cucumber combination. But it felt too heavy, even though it was an affordable addition to the meal.
To start, we had the spring onion pancake and the sweet and sour pork, both were just alright while waiting for the hotpot to cook.
I liked the brown sugar cake for dessert.
I do recommend a visit to Han restaurant for the coconut chicken hotpot, but I live in the east so I’m not sure how easy it is to justify traveling so far away for hotpot! It’s not too expensive and can get quite full on...
