5 Stars – A Truly Wonderful Experience!
As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the manager, which set the tone for an excellent visit. A thoughtful touch was the bell placed on our table, by one of the employess allowing us to get the staff’s attention when we were ready to order – very convenient!
There were three of us: two of us ordered the platter (which included 2 mains and 4 sides for just £30), and I went for a large meal with two sides, choosing the steam cabbage and mixed salad – all cooked to perfection. The food arrived fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.
We were pleased to see the restaurant proudly displayed a Food Hygiene Rating of 5, which definitely showed in their cleanliness and attention to detail. We each had a tropical fruit punch – refreshing and delicious – and for dessert, my friend and I shared an apple crumble with custard. It was absolutely divine!
The atmosphere was fantastic – friendly staff, great vibes, music, and a welcoming setting. It was so good that we ended up ordering takeaways to bring home to the rest of the family.
Highly recommend this place – an all-around...
Read moreProbably a bad day. Maybe stressed with orders, but to communicate with a customer, not even borderline rude and miserable just Miserable and Rude. Red pea soup was like a tea soup just watery and not the right colour and consistency, when just a few weeks ago the soup my friend got for me from there was delicious (Which made me come back). Now to add insult to injury, when I came to collect my soup she said my payment didn’t go through, which it clearly did the first time saying ‘approved’ on the card machine, then embarrassingly having to prove it using my phone banking app, that the payment did go through. Had to wait even longer for her to prepare the soup. No sorry no nothing. Feelings and attitude show in your food that’s why mine was a big disappointment. Need to sort out your staffs attitude. Be RESPECTFUL TO EVERYONE. You have a job, do it well...
Read moreBrilliant little eatery that has opened on Shepherd's Bush road. We ordered the Stew Chicken with rice & peas.along with Fruit Punch, BBQ wings with Avocado salad & water & Fried fish Escovitch with plain rice & Coleslaw.along with Fruit Punch. As everything was cooked fresh it did take longer to arrive than expected but it was worth the wait. All the food was tasty along with the Fruit Punch. Another plus was that they cook with basmati rice which is the.only rice I like. One of the group went on to order a slice (a large one!!) Of Victoria Sandwich cake & custard. They said it was moist and you could see that it was the right ratio of buttercream & jam to cake. Will definitely be eating there again. A really good example of Carribbean...
