Already twice I come here before 18h30 (first at 6, today at 5.30pm) and it's closed with no indication of opening hours nor that they're on holidays... bit unreliable!!
Edit: I am not a local so I had no way of knowing you were at a different location - I tried to call you twice in the number available on your Facebook page, no one picked up. I tried to contact you on Facebook, no one answered me. If that is indeed the situation, why don't you have a sign on the door saying "find us at location xx and we'll open up for you"? It's not my fault I'm not a local, I can't magically guess where you are. If you only want customers who live in your street fair enough, but as you are one of the only shops in London with really high quality Portuguese products I thought you might want to attract customers from further afield, and I left work early twice to get there by closing time. It's not just "easier to leave a bad review" - maybe it would be "easier" for you to apologise and say you'll do better? At least update your Google...
Read moreA superb little cafe! The staff were extremely friendly and made lots of great recommendations regarding food and drink. It's clear that they have a lot of passion. The atmosphere is lovely and cosy inside, with small tables packed tight together. Food was excellent. We shared the bifana and the cuttlefish and both were delicious. Walnut and caramel cake after was just as good. Caipirinha was one of the best I've had outside Portugal. Great selection of wines and dessert wines as well. Will absolutely be returning to try the brunch offers and I cannot recommend this...

This unassuming shop across from Hackney Farm proves to be a little island of Portuguese deliciousness that you can't miss.
