This place has to be having a laugh. They have ‘best salt beef beigel in London’ written on the front of the shop and it was laughable what was given!
How they have the audacity to write this and serve that in such close proximity to Brick Lane (real Salt Beef beigel shops) is beyond me. It was more expensive than the real places too.
Actually laughed out loud when I opened the bag. Ridiculously small amount of salt beef which was dry.
Google brick lane salt beigel to see what they are claiming to be better than, and then look at the photo. 😂
Edit: to owner - if you thought in any way it was acceptable for this garbage to be served to a paying customer I doubt you would have sorted the issue out for me. Is should have never been served so maybe retraining staff and reviewing your recipe and portion sizes is needed. It was purchased 5 minutes before this review was made on this specific date, I have the card statement if you’d like to see and the picture was taken opposite...
Read moreI am not sure whether or not I encountered the owners of this place But they have warm inviting vibes. I came too early on Sunday, they welcomed me in regardless. The place is quiet, cosy and small. I purchased the day b4 a vegan cinnamon bun and I did again today. Plenty of the baked goods are vegan. I believe the croissant as well. Their vegan cinnamon bun is light and fluffy. It is tasty and not loaded with calories similar to the standard ones found elsewhere. I give the croissant 6.5 out of 10. It tastes absolutely good if you were vegan, but since standard croissant requires animal-based butter, also, me being serious croissant consumer. Hmm I am not sure. The vegan version is just not for me. I would love to try more of their vegan baked items, especially the cakes and bagels. About coffee,...
Read moreI finally found my very own favourite coffee shop in London. Their pistachio latte and other specialty coffee drinks are so creative and well-executed. They are always trying new, unique combinations while also offering masterful classics, all with dietary friendly alternatives. You can genuinely see how much the owners and staff love what they do and dedicate themselves to their craft in offering the highest quality ingredients for both bev and food. I love that they offer bagels, or beigels, fresh squeezed juices and smoothies, in addition to pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. They have two levels with loads of seating and fast internet, making it a great spot to work on your own or with friends. I absolutely love coming here and can't recommend it...
