AL Bader Cafe — Restaurant in London

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but the recent change in staff has completely ruined the experience. The customer service has gone downhill - particularly from the man shown in the photo.

Not only have they significantly reduced the portion sizes of the £16 Costco cakes (you now get half a slice for the same £3 price), but I was also refused service until I paid upfront. His justification was that he “threw it away last time” because I had commented on the reduced portion size.

His attitude was rude and unprofessional, and it’s honestly disappointing to see how far the service has fallen. The previous staff were warm, welcoming, and made every visit enjoyable.

This used to be my go-to local café, but unfortunately, I’ll be looking elsewhere...

Located not too far from Leyton Station (Central Line). Went there to have a full English breakfast.

Service: As I was ordering the food, the staff member decided to start to talking to his colleague at the back which I found a bit rude. At least wait for me to finish. And the staff in the kitchen was singing away. Anyways, I ordered my food and asked for them not to include mushrooms but when my order came the mushrooms were there! If he had concentrated, maybe the mistake wouldn't happened - after all I was the only customer there.
