Terrible customer service; the owner swears and the younger guy behind the counter even said “let’s take this outside” all because I pointed out that their pricing doesn’t make sense, I.e.

Regular mixed grill, eat in price £14, or take away price £13 and you get: 1 lamb Shish skewer 1 chicken shish skewer 1 lamb Adana skewer Regular chips Regular salad

Large mixed grill, eat in price £25, or take away price £22.95. You’d expect to get double the above, right? - no… all you get extra is a skewer of wings and some extra chips / salad.

How much do wings cost? - £4.50… so, with that logic, a regular mixed grill + wings should be £18.50… instead, it’s £25… so you’re telling me it’s £6.50 for some more chips and salad?

When I tried to explain this to the owner he started swearing at me.

Will never go back.

Shame - there are other customers here who have also complained about their bad service and...

When I read on Amal Restaurant's Menu: Lamb couscous with a variety of vegetables and steamed couscous £16.50 (plus the delivery fees that comes over £20) , I thought I'll order it thinking it will worth the price.. when the order arrived and I opened the plastic bag that it came in, I was shocked 😳 it was a very very tiny portion with a quarter slice of a thin frying steak and a few chickpeas and carrots on the top of a soggy tiny portion of couscous ( I'm a small lady who doesn't eat much But this portion of what they're calling lamb couscous is far too small and doesn't come with a proper portion of Lamb and the variety of vegetables and steamed couscous as it's described on their menu, plus it's far So pricey £16.50 plus delivery fees that comes to over £20..and it doesn't worth the price.. Been consistent customer for 4 years now. Today’s experience has let me down, and me and my family of 6 will not be returning. Ordered Amal special serving 3-4 people along with some other bits. The ‘special’ was very disappointing; mountain of rice with barely any meat. If it serves 3-4 people I would atleast expect 3 lamb chops but there was 2. There was 2 table spoons of lamb and chicken sharwarma each. You get more in the £5.50 wrap. When we raised our concerns nicely we got told that’s it and everything is expensive. Not happy with service nor food. No wonder...
