The place is quiet small and neat. The management has made its best to create an Indian atmosphere inside London vibes. When you get in the restaurants, you will be welcomed with a nice smile with Indian music playing at the background. I prefer to sit at the window table as you watch people walking by outside the Restuarant. Menu is rich with selections. The waiter makes all the time by passing on the table to ask of all is ok and food is nice. I enjoyed the curries and the blend of spices. The only comment I have was the rice that was not to my expectations. Indian rice in other restaurants is better. Other than this it was a good experience.

This restaurant is a shame of every Indian, kindly ignore this restaurant if you want to have a nice food. This shop isn't recommend one. Very low quantity biryani with Poor customer service and they not at all giving importance to the own country people. Since we had a Biriyani yesterday evening. We are having a terrible Stomach pain and the meat( lamb) not at all well cooked ..

Lovely curry place near oxford street. Was dying for a curry and went on google and found it was close by. We had the Butter Chicken and Chicken Kashmir and the food was delicious! The Peshwari Naan was also lovely! Would recommend to anyone shopping near Oxford Street or working/staying in the area!

This has earned a top spot in London for me: Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

You may expect a nice cozy Indian restaurants, and given the good reviews, you may think this is the place to stay for a brief lunch. This all seems well and good, until you are greeted by the waiter, who in the rudest way possible tells you to sit down. We were a large party, so we adjusted some tables (because even with reservation, he didn't bother to do it prior to our arrival). We were a bit tight, so we put them forward a bit, and he just put them back again. At this point we knew we were in for a ride - and we were.

"Let's order some starters" suggested one person in our group. "What do you recommend?" she asks nicely. The waiter immediately tells us they can't serve us starters (what even is this?) because the chef is all alone, and very busy (we were the only customers at this moment in time) and everything has to be ordered at the same time.

Anyways, after telling him the mains will have to wait because some people were still coming, he grudgingly agreed. Starters arrived, and we thought maybe they would be the saving grace. However, while decent in taste, the chef managed to burn the Naan bread (congratulations).

We ordered some tap water (he insisted we get still or sparkling bottled water instead, to squeeze out more money), and had to re-order 3 times because he didn't bring it. Once he did, he only brought two glasses (!!) for a party of 11. The attention to detail sure is immense.

Skipping ahead a bit (we were there for approximately 3 hours because some guests were arriving later than expected), some more guests arrived, and mind you, they wanted starters! What an impossible thing to request (and they didn't get them). What they did bet though is some bottled water! Nice one.

Anyways, finally we are all there, mains arrive, food is tasty. Some saving grace, though for the price also not breathtaking.

Time to finish up and order the bill: a new waiter joins. I think "finally, maybe a competent person". "Competent person" helps clean up the table, and asks someone in our group for their plate (nice, we get to help clean up, excellent). She puts her tissue on it, as she no longer needs it. Seems reasonable. However, he asked for the plate and the plate only. So he moves a bit, and puts the used, dirty tissue on the table of another person in the group, slightly on her arm. Thanks for reminding us we need a shower after this place!

Overall a truly fantastically terrible experience. A place to remember. For all the bad reasons. This place truly deserves one star. Stay away from here, and if you walk past, maybe leave some dirty tissues behind, they seem to know how to deal with them..

Lastly, on a less sarcastic note: Don't ever go here. I was very close to waving people away as they were coming in when we were finally eating dinner. I didn't, but I hope this review will keep people away. There are infinitely better places to eat, and for the amount of money this place costs, it is shameful what they are...

Strongly not recommended. I have no idea how it was rated for 4.1 in Google(could be fake reviews). I have visited this restaurant along with my friend today afternoon and food is pathetic and very very expensive(you would never visit back, damn sure). I have been to many Indian restaurants in London before, but never rated any hotel because I was not so disappointed as much as this. There was only a guy inside the restaurant who takes the order and serves the food as well. In the menu, you can see multiple options for beer but only get kingfisher draught beer because that's what they have and waiter says 'kingfisher is better' even before you order it. HALF pint costs 3.4 pounds and a pint cost more than 6 pounds. Coming to the food we have order a kebab platter(12 pounds and change) and chicken biryani(Around 16 pounds). We did not remember exact change after pounds because they won't provide any check or bill as they do not maintain it. He was told us to wait for 15min to get the food. Meanwhile he gave us the papad(90 pence) and offered another papad for free. Waiter said 'very cheap right'. After 15min we got a platter and stunned to see the platter has only 7 peaces of all together in a very small quantity. We thought London is bit expensive, so as this, but as soon as we eat the food felt that food is not fresh at all(very easy to differentiate from fresh and stale). Lamb was not proprly cooked and chicken wings are over cooked and biryani is not biryani at all you could say chicken with rice( very disappointed to spend 16 pounds for the biryani after tasting it). All together 42.4 pounds spent for two half pint beers, one kebab platter, chicken biryani and papad. When we try to pay with card, he said 'money is better'. Worst food experience...

IF YOU WANT BLAND FOOD SERVED BY UNFRIENDLY STAFF AND VERY RUSHED EAT HERE!!!!!

Portion sizes are small serving bland food, the beer is £6 for a bottle of Cobra & small glass of cola over £3.

We were brought popudoms as starters but before we had finished them they were whipped away and the mains brought. Waiter was reaching across us not saying excuse me in an arrogant manner. Food was ok edible but not fantastic with small portions. The second we were finished the plates all cleared away and asked if we wanted coffee. No we replied so the bill was brought over before we finished our drinks.

We decided to pay by card and the waiter said "what about a tip" we pointed out on the bill there was an additional £10 ...we asked what that was our reply was company charge. I said that is a service charge he said no its VAT!! I replied you do not pay VAT ...that actually means a service charge doesn't it so why are you asking for more money ?? What a joke awful con to try to get more cash out of you . We paid the £10 on the bill as you expect to pay a service charge in London but was paying no more as it was not worthy of it.

Would not recommend this unfriendly place with no atmosphere bland over priced food who rush you to get you out. Four of us were in and out in 50 minutes. If you are limited for time and don't want friendly service and will try to get a underserved tip go here...other wise leave well alone. Table of two females in the restaurant at the same time also experienced the same rushed service and trying for tips that were not justified!!! Would never recommend or return for...
