We recently ordered takeaway from this Turkish restaurant, Anatolia. The portion size was not proportionate, there was way more meat than there was rice. Which wasn’t pleasant. The flavors were decent, though not particularly standout. We ordered one portion of Adana with Bulga rice and another portion of Lamb shish with white rice. We also got some salad and bread, the bread was cold but it still tasted good and the salad was decent as well. Instead of what we ordered we were given a portion of Lamb shish and bulga rice and a portion of lamb doner with bulga rice. I went back to say that one of the orders were wrong. The man was dismissive and had a bit of an attitude about it. Instead of offering a quick apology or trying to resolve the issue politely, they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them for pointing out their mistake. The restaurant has a lot of seats in the restaurant so you can eat in and the restaurant is kept clean. The chairs look old and they are losing their colour. The decor is minimalistic and the restaurant has a lot of space. You can dine in and you can take out. The price is not worth the quality and size of the food. You can try this place if you want but I definitely won’t be back.

Old school but Service is not included in the bill so leaving a tip for your server should you choose to eat in is good move. Luckily i was dining with someone who had cash so we were able to leave a tip. I know its not the common thing anymore to always carry cash and we thought a tip would be able to be added through the card machine. Prices are very fair and portions are great. We asked for meals that had no dairy or meat so were given the "vegetarian" option. When the food was brought over chilli and garlic sauce was given which again i had to ask "is there any butter, cheese or milk in it" to which the server said "dont have that one" but it was left on the table. The "vegetarian" option the server showed me was rice, salad and cooked mixed vegetables including potato, sweet peppers and okra cooked in a tomatoey sauce. All was tasty. I have eaten many a falafel wrap from here but never had a sit in meal. Topped up with hummus and Turkish tea we were good to go.

Went here following a recommendation, we all love Turkish food and its easy for our mixed group of meat eaters and vegans. The selection was ok, prices average, food was tasty, but the service was terrible: Restaurant wasnt even half full, had to flag down serving staff. We were given the wine to open ourselves (I love wine so at this point still happy) We were served by about 4 different people, none of them smiled. They wouldn't swap rice for chips with any dishes, apparently not policy so guess alot of people ask. Waiters didn't know what dishes they were carrying, queue abit of shouting accross the restaurant. Asked to box up a friends left overs, she realised she had a tupperware, when the waitor returned with the polystyrene he said we wasted his time. Reminded us twice while paying service isnt included. Get a takeaway but swerve a sit down, theres tons of other great places to go.

Visited for a late dinner with my mum. The shop was empty except us and another couple by the door who left shortly after - maybe that was a sign, who knows!

The ONLY saving grace about our experience was the older slim gentleman who served our table, he was kind.

Every other man that shop was so rude. We ordered a mixed grill and mixed shish. When the food came, apart from the meat, everything else was cold. I brought the bulgar wheat and thought it had a weird smell but ate a spoonful anyway and it smelled rancid and was a slimy texture in the mouth. I explained but the gentleman behind the grill wearing a black shirt had a very rude expression in his face. I told them that the food had spoiled - it was a hot day so it can happen sometimes but what shocked me was that Another waiter took the food away and they simply moved the cooked meat that had already been contaminated with the spoiled dish and moved it onto a new plate with rice. When I challenged that this wasn’t a good food hygiene practice they gaslit us that it was okay: and even took a spoonful of the spoiled bulgar wheat to pretend it was okay. (All the best to him and his toilet the next day because he’s going to be in there a long time)

There was no apology, and they were extremely dismissive and talking about us in their language. Unfortunately for them I understand Turkish but they probably assumed i wouldn’t because I’m black. I wouldn’t return here because the customer service and food hygiene standards are below sub par. I know for sure they intended to continue serving that spoiled food until they closed. They’re lucky I’m not going to call the food standards agency on them for how they treated us! Save your money! They definitely DO...

Attended last week exactly to order a Lamb special at £8.50. Was lovely, no complaints. Re attended today to get x2 Lamb Specials which cos me £10.00 each - I did'nt say anything at the time. When I got back home from walking to and from the restaurant, the restaurant had forgotten a portion of rice and couscous. My partner rang the store to explain and they kindly asked if we could go back to pick up the missing items. No problem. When my partner went in to collect, the men behind the counter had no form of good communication and was trying to give him a completely different order and charge him a further £10!!!!! My partner was trying to explain for ages that he was the man who rang to say about the missing orders and was still not getting through to the men behind the counter what he was trying to explain. I got out of my car and went in to the restaurant, the men was still trying to argue the fact over the order that had nothing to do with us. 10 minutes later we finally got through to them and they gave us our rice. After this hiccup, i then enquired about the extra £1.50 charge on each dish, to which a man who was sitting at the table and chairs stood up and tried to explain to me that they had put their prices up 2-3 weeks ago.( Fair enough if this was the case) but I only went in exactly 7 days ago from today so him stating their price change in that time frame was a lie! Safe to say I wont be eating out of there again as they get so argumentative and defensive over a mistake on their end to which we had to re attend to rectify the...

We arrived at the restaurant which was empty (only one table occupied inside, and 2 outside). We have been sat down close to the windows with our 2 children. I asked the waiter if I should leave the pram at the entrance but he told me to leave it next to me, which I did. The menu was given to us. We placed the order and waited for our food. No drinks were offered. A waiter approached the table and polished some side plates in front of us: Weird… Shortly after, we received our « large » mixed platter: a tiny bit of steamed rice and 5 pieces of meat !! How large is that?? Ridiculous A little salad, not appealing at all was also brought along some bread. The food was absolutely TASTELESS !! I never had such a bad turkish food, it was not marinated, the service was inexistant. The restaurant got busier and they sat all the tables around us. When we asked for the bill, my friend told the waiter to pay £28 on card as the bill was £27 and some penny, and guess what, while leaving, we found out he had charged her £30 !!! Why on earth would you do that?!! And Obviously, we had to disturb all the tables around us to be able to get the pram out of the corner we were. Such a silly idea from the waiters ! To resume: AVOID this « restaurant » Food is Horrible, service to laugh at ! Extremely...
