Be At One - Monument — Restaurant in London

We had two men take photos up our skirts, the manager was patronising and no help at all. There is no system in place to prevent these men from returning and doing this or worse to other women. I was told by the manager they are ‘French tourists’ so won’t be in London long - which has nothing to do with the problem at hand. I was then told that they can’t take their names as it is against the GDPR Be At One have, yet my friend and I had a privacy violated. It is ILLEGAL for someone to take photos up a skirt, yet no police were called, no report made, and the manager just sent them on their way. We was told they had checked their phones for photos, obviously these men had hidden these as it takes a matter of seconds, and the manager patronising told me “there wasn’t even any photos on their phone”. Insinuating that we were lying. Despite two other women seeing these men take the inappropriate photos. There needs to be protocols and a system in place to prevent men like this from returning. A complete joke. And I believe that because we were young women we were not taking seriously at all. Only one bouncer was very helpful and reassured us of our safety, unfortunately it is out of his hands due to the limited rules they have put in place for this sort of harassment. Will not be returning. And I advise other women to keep an eye out for this despicable behaviour, and hopefully the manager may be less condescending and...

If I could this place is worth a 100 stars, mainly due to the fabulous staff

I have to say for me, this is the "go to bar" in London & have the best selection of cocktails. The staff are all so super lovely & provide such a friendly personal service & want to ensure all their customers have the best night. They never fail to please their customers!

On my most recent visit this weekend, I took a friend who was pregnant, so just to ensure she did not miss out on the variety of cocktails we were having, they made her the non alcoholic version of whatever we had including their famous "Popster" How cool is that!

I have visited other Be at One bars, but this is the only one I will now visit, as it has the best & most friendly bar staff ever , combined with great music - that is what makes my night.

This is my number one bar of choice to take my friends, & so far this year, I've managed to go there 5 out of the 6 months!!

Thank you to all the talented staff at this Monument branch - you guys make this bar & it just would not be the same without you You guys totally rock :-)
