The shop has good decor and seems to be inviting however has poor customer service. I asked the Asian Chinese looking girl short in height if the coffee is organic she didn't know the answer to this. When I asked can you check she said the name is on the self checkout machines. I couldn't find it, I kept having to ask her, she then made the coffee not hot as they don't have temperature gauge. She then wrote name after nudging her a few times. Then I could not read her writing and had to push her to speak up but she won't, she kept doing silent treatment. She also didn't smile demonstrating poor customer service and poor service. Coffee taste okay so postive on that part, but a lot of improvements needed in service if your going to charge £4.78 for a coffee. Pret on the hand is organic and with membership only charge £1.90 with cinnamon too. This girl is bad for the buisness. It's seems her mental health is decorating hence her attitude, anyway that's management problem. Interior looked Inviting service is just bad. Also no discount for reusable cup, but may revisit if invited with better service...
Read moreBlack Sheep Coffee stands out as a true gem in our pet-friendly neighbourhood. Unlike so-called dog-friendly establishments like 'Starbucks' and 'Out of Office Coffee’, where the management's attitude towards dog owners often feels less than welcoming, Black Sheep Coffee genuinely embraces our four-legged friends. From the moment you step in, the welcoming atmosphere for dogs is palpable. The staff is incredibly accommodating, making sure both you and your pet are comfortable.
What sets Black Sheep Coffee apart is their exceptional service. They don't just allow dogs; they celebrate them. I was delighted when Paula, a friendly barista, personally brought my coffee to the table upstairs, ensuring I could stay comfortably seated with my pup. This level of service is a rarity and greatly appreciated by dog owners.
If you're looking for a place where both you and your pup can feel at home, Black Sheep Coffee is the spot. It's a refreshing change from other places in the area and a perfect example of what a true dog-friendly coffee...
Read moreVisited twice, had a drink here Sunday evening whilst waiting for friends before heading to an occasion nearby, then for coffee and breakfast the next morning. Airy and light within, plus outdoor tables on the pedestrianised area in front.
Fabulous staff, really lovely people, who were generally friendly and welcoming, and went above/beyond by kindly loaning my forgetful self a cable to charge my phone.
They have lots of plug and USB sockets across the cafe, so a good charging stop, particularly for those who remember their cables 🤣. Seems like a nice place for remote working, was a few people there doing so.
Good coffee, nice beer and wine. Prices were within expectation, even bordering on reasonable (for London 😅). Nice range of drinks, lots of coffee options.
Very dog friendly (didn't have ours with us but saw a few Good Dogs).
If management read this, please pass on our compliments to the two lads who were working on the evening 2nd July, who were just really nice. The sort of warm and happy staff that...
