Spanning over two floors, Broadleaf offers intimate booth settings as well as tables for larger parties. With rustic decoration and some taxidermy (which is the epitome of the ETM group behind Broadleaf) it was a lovely venue to have brunch in. For the sports fans, upstairs at Broadleaf are large screens as well as a shuffleboard.
We were also lucky to have two singers play two sets during our brunch with a mixture of older and contemporary songs, which was a perfect accompaniment.
Boozy Brunch in London Offering two courses for £20 or three courses for £25 with an optional boozy brunch for an additional £15 including prosecco, mimosa, bloody mary, wine and beer, Broadleaf is exceptional value for what you get. It is also great to get a choice of your unlimited booze so you can mix and match!
I also loved the Coco Loco Mocktail: Ginger and Lemongrass, pineapple, coconut, citrus and lemonade which was beautifully presented and refreshing.
I actually opted for two dishes from the starters given I could not pick between them! Starting with the Mac and cheese croquettes, I was presented with 3 large croquettes, perfectly cooked with gooey mac and cheese inside. The garlicky sauce that accompanied the croquettes was perfect.
Following this I had the Buttermilk pancakes, bacon, maple syrup which were not quite as fluffy as I would like them but came with a really decent portion of bacon, which is always a winner. Some of the other starters on offer included Eggs Benedict, Royale and Florentine and Salmon and scrambled eggs – dishes that I would expect on the main meal list so even better value for money!
The selection of main meals included Superfood salad and Ceaser Salad, Longhorn Double Cheeseburger, Crab Linguine, Corn Fed Chicken, Lamb Stew and Salmon Fishcakes. Really hearty dishes meaning that two courses is more than enough to satisfy you.
Part of the reason I opted for two starters was because I had spied the Sticky Toffee Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream on the dessert menu. It did not disappoint either with a generous amount of sauce (so important!) and very moist.
The White Chocolate Cheesecake and the Pineapple Carpaccio were also fantastic desserts:
I was super impressed with the boozy brunch at Broadleaf in terms of atmosphere, service and price and it is definitely worth...
Read moreBroadleaf offers a very satisfying Saturday bottomless brunch option: For only £35 each, guests can enjoy 2 courses accompanied by a two hour flow of Prosecco, house wines, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, bottled Heineken or Sol. Add a third course for just £5 more and you’re set for a great time indeed. The food certainly didn’t disappoint and our gathering meant we were able to share and sample an abundance of fine dishes. The Mac & Cheese croquettes tasted as good as they sound. Crispy coated bites of gooey comfort food that bought a smile to all. The Eggs Benedict was a well executed take on a classic and the Buttermilk Pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup brought some stateside flavour to a selection of European favourites.
The main courses certainly created a stir of excitement too. We marvelled at the Longhorn Double Cheeseburger. This mighty stack of prime beef, melted cheddar, caramelised onions and club sauce almost touched the ceiling and created a ripple of food envy among the group. The Classic Caesar salad was as good as any we’ve tasted and the Devon Crab linguine with chilli oil delivered rich comforting warmth with every twisted forkful.
The sweet toothed among us delighted in the dessert courses. A picture perfect white chocolate cheesecake strewn with blackberries tasted even better than it looked. Who could say no to a generous slab of sticky toffee pudding, bathed in sweet sauce and topped with vanilla...

We were nearly done with the main course and I was checking out the steak, commenting on how perfectly medium-rare it was cooked, but my friend had ordered it to be medium. As we said this, the manager appeared and apologised for the steak being medium-rare instead of medium, and then offered us free desserts! That's what I call service! He was either psychic or just has an incredible eye for detail. 50% off plus free dessert, I'm not going to complain... Steak should be cooked medium-rare anyway 😋
Wheelchair access ✔️. Step-free entrance and accessible toilets which are upstairs, but there is a lift.
Food was packed full of flavour so I'm definitely coming back, especially since they do a bottomless...
