Buns Out (Burgers, Hotdogs, Grill Chicken & Shakes) — Restaurant in London

Drove past and looked nice so thought I’d give it a try.

Decor inside was nice and new, it was recently renovated. I found it but tight with tables close together and the high stool concept on some tables were not suitable for me.

I was not greeted by the man/chef working there, no menus were presented to me until I walked up to the counter. The man came over to counter and pulled out a menu, while remaining silent. I did not feel a welcoming vibe but thought it must be good food since 4.9 stars.

Ordered burgers and milkshakes. Burgers were presented very well and generous portion size but the meat and fillings were not hot, just luke warm. Sauces were quite nice which were provided. The texture of the chicken burger was a little chewey which was surprising as expected it to be softer and more tender. The beef burger was about 1cm thick and cooked well, but little bit hard for my liking.

Milkshake was disappointing as it just tasted like ice cream and double cream, the flavour of the Orea did not come through.

Overall I would rate this 3 Stars as food was good, but not excellent or impressive. The lack of warm welcome was also offputting.

I think majority of the reviews must be fake since it’s impossible for the shop to gain 4.9 star based on my experience.

Despite being good, I probably will not return a second time because there are a lot of other better burger...

Called up to make a phone order and the barbarian who took my call had absolutely no manners. Coughing into the phone and shouting in another language to someone in the back.

I asked if it was real bacon or beef bacon that they serve and he sarcastically replied saying it was chicken bacon, something which doesn’t exist. I’d imagine if I had an allergy to something and asked if my order contained it, he would probably have the same sarcastic response.

What a shame, in this country, in this day and age we still have backward people who behave like they were raised in a cave.

Hands down one of the best fast food restaurant in London. From the fresh salad that comes with the chicken wings to the juiciest beef with the buttery brioche bun, everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The restaurant was really aesthetic as well, got some nice instagram-worthy pictures. The oreo milkshake is undoubtedly one of the tastiest milkshake I have ever tried. If you’re visiting this restaurant, make sure you don’t leave without trying the milkshakes.
