London Pub MapLondon Pub Map
🚇 Kilburn 🍺 £5.10 Amstel ❤️ The quintessential London pub on busy Kilburn High Road. . The NLT is only a couple of minutes walk from either Kilburn Tube or Brondesbury Overground. This is a Victorian built pub which stands proud as punch on its corner plot. The architecture is elegant but simple with nothing overstated. . Since my last visit there has been a refurb which has really enhanced the look and feel of this place. At the rear of the pub there is a good size dining area with exposed brickwork work, chandeliers and a large chalkboard listing what culinary delights are available. At the centre of the pub there is beautiful ornate bar and at the front of the pub you’ll find comfy seating, copper tables all flooded with light from the pubs huge windows. . I visited around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and received a warm welcome from Emma who was on duty behind the bar. I ordered an Amstel and found a perch opposite the bar to take stock of my surroundings. The atmosphere was relaxed with a feel good vibe, this large boozer had a few punters in who were spread around all parts of the pub. . There is a lot on offer here, be it over the bar, from the kitchen and also to entertain you. The beer choice is very good whether you have a craft or cask persuasion. The food was popular as the dining area was the busiest part of the pub that afternoon and the entertainment ranges from quiz nights, live music to open mic nights. . I managed to have a chat with Deane the assistant manager who was such a nice fella, he was telling about how business was picking up and the popularity of the Sunday night quiz, he is a real asset to this pub. . There were so many positives to take away from The NLT. The service and staff here are top notch, they do the pub and the hospitality industry proud. The environment is comfortable and welcoming whether you’re having a beer or doing lunch. The @northlondontav is an excellent Kilburn pub with something for everyone. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 30/04/22

We had a wonderful experience at the The North London Tavern 2 weeks ago. We didn't want to leave!! The dads in the group got to enjoy their key sporting events on the big TV while we ate, chatted, and played in the lovely styled pub. It has evidently been refurbished and has a lovely feel about it. After dessert, I even took the wee boys out for some football at a park 5 min away so the rest of the adults could relax and sip away at their drinks from the bar 🍸. Paul was especially helpful. His kindness from the moment I spoke to him on the phone gave us all a feeling of calmness and care. We had a great chillout! P.s. MUST try the Sticky Toffe Pudding and ice cream. All food great value!

We hired the function room for my partners 30th birthday. We often drink in here and know the staff really well as they’re super friendly and always take the time to stop and chat to us. The night was so easy, Danny was a breeze and really let us transform the room into the 90s disco we had planned. Luis managed the bar for the night which we asked for personally, and all of our friends and family had nothing but positive things to say about him! He made it a super fun experience, we had the best time and would really recommend using these guys for any parties/functions in future.

I’m disgusted at the poor service I received at this establishment this evening. Not only were staff aggressive and rude the food was poor.

After noticing that our set menu was missing numerous items and a colleague even found a hair in his food I decided to speak to the manager. Whilst speaking to David his waitress stood there intimidating me ranting that it was unfair and rude of me to discuss the issues with the manager and went as far as to tell me to shut up! The manager at this point was accommodating and offered a 50% off on top of a 15% discount we already had and removed the veg meal that had a hair that he insisted was a thread. Clear an admission of guilt about what I had complained about.

We then waited a while for dessert which was also inadequate moose wasn’t set and sundae was disgusting. Sine if my colleagues didn’t get their dessert due to the complaints from some.

When some then sent the desserts back the manager returned after some time and approached quite aggravated with ‘so who wants to talk about the bill?’ He was then very rude and abrupt and insisted we had made his staff cry which wasn’t true he then when we refuted this began arguing with us and stormed off. Threatening to take us to small claims court despite no one refusing to pay. We just wanted him to be aware of the poor service and quality of food we’d been subjected to.

It was clear the staff couldn’t deal with the pressure of a ‘large’ party or the criticism.

Having been going to this pub for 5years myself and some members of my party drinking their regular for a lot longer I’m disheartened at the treatment and we collectively will not be gracing this place with my presence.

Well done to the member of staff who apologised a number of times for his colleagues behaviour.

I would love to see the cctv which will confirm all that I have stated and I will be looking into contacting the owner/head office. Shocking!

Update… Your behaviour towards us was unjust hence the initial apology through discount and the multiple apologies from security. A member of the group was furious after staff became accusatory and rude. Does that excuse their behaviour no, but should that over shadow that your staff who were supposed to provide a service were intermediating and aggressive FIRST absolutely not! Did your own staff share that you do not treat ‘other’ groups like this-100%.

Also be very clear your member of staff cried as she was offended a complaint was made directly to management and she was buckling under the pressure of a large group. As mentioned previously the cctv footage will verify that your staff were hostile, intimidating and rude prior to one member of our group being rude. Her behaviour was...

We booked a table 7 weeks ago, for Sat 5th October to celebrate our late fathers birthday and 1 year anniversary since his passing. We picked here based on the menu and were looking forward to an evening celebrating. However on arrival we saw there was a reduced menu in operation including no option for kids food. (We were with 2 kids, one of which is 2 years old). So as you can imagine we were disappointed. I would have expected those who have made a reservation to of been contacted and told ahead of arrival the menu was now reduced so they can make alrernative plans if necessary. This was not the case. However as it was last minute and we would not find availability for a large group at short notice we decided to stay. Due to the fact we had 2 kids, we asked if something could be done as we did not feel it was fair to pay adult prices for kids who would not be able to finish their meals. The young man who served us told us there was nothing he could do. (He told us he was the manager).

We requested that giving the circumstances and inconvenience caused that more could be done. However there was no attempt at customer satisfaction or any empathy towards the situation.

He offered 10% off the bill, which he had given to a customer before us and told us he gave him 10% as he is a regular, therefor we thought there is surely more you could do for us considering you offer 10% on a whim.

He then told us if we don’t like it we can go elsewhere, which we did take up the offer and went home!

We had our evening / anniversary ruined and tainted by this experience.

Even the way he spoke to us from the beginning was disappointing! No apologies at all. Yet he spoke to us like we inconvenienced him! This really ruined our 1st encounter at this establishment and not to mention what we were trying to celebrate...
