This has been the second time I went to the Chef Restaurant.

My TLDR rating is: Really tasty kebab, great salad and amazing bread with fair prices and a friendly atmosphere.

Now to get a bit more in depth:

I ordered the kebab plate (large) for 12£ as well as the Sucuk from the hot starters menu for 6£.

What you get with what is marked on the pictures.

The Meat on the Kebab plate is awesome. Perfectly seasoned, crispy but not dry at all. The salad is fresh, the blue cabbage was really crunchy and fresh. Everything on the salad plate was lightly seasoned. With the kebab plate I was asked what kind of sauces I want. I can definitely recommend the homemade garlic sauce! Only nitpick with the kebab plate is, that the fries were not or only really lightly salted. Not a big deal as I just grabbed a salt shaker and salted them myself to my liking. I’d say the value for the kebab plate is great. Definitely not holding back on the meat which I really appreciate.

Regarding the Sucuk, you get really nice grilled Sucuk with the star of the show here being the homemade flatbread they have. Which is the most tasty thing. Although the value is not half as good as the kebab plate, the bread you get with the Sucuk is definitely is worth it!

All in all I’d recommend and also...

Last time, my taste buds embarked on an epic journey at "Chef's Restaurant" a place where the kebabs aren't just food; they're a culinary adventure! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of spices and grilled meat was a clear sign that I was in for a treat.

The service? Oh, it was like being welcomed by long-lost friends! The staff greeted me with such warmth and enthusiasm, it felt like they were genuinely excited to share their kebab mastery with me. And share they did!

I ordered a mix platter so tender and flavorful, it must have been marinated in magic. Each bite was a perfect symphony of spices, meat, and veggies, harmonizing in a way that would make a gourmet chef weep with joy. The side of crispy, golden fries was the perfect encore to the kebab's main performance.

But what truly set Chef's Restaurant apart was the impeccable service. My glass was never empty, the smiles were endless, and the staff's recommendations were spot-on.

In a world where dining out can be hit or miss, "Chef's Restaurant" is a shining star. Great food, fantastic service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like royalty. If you're looking for a place where every meal feels like a celebration, look no further.

Popped out to grab a bite to eat to take home. Ordered chips in pitta with cheese. They proceed to make the order, when I see what they were about to give me! I asked wheres the pitta bread? It was a cut up bit of turkish bread, with chips on top, with loads of grated cheese on. I didn’t ask for loaded fries! They failed to tell me they didn’t have pitta just for the sake of a sale, then the guy had the cheek to say ‘this is better than that’, sorry but if a customer orders what they want you should give them it or inform them that they do not have it but would they like an alternative. They also messed up my partners order, let us leave with no salad and when we got home, it’s was chicken thigh and not chicken breast (He ordered chicken shish).

The shop did refund me once I informed them that’s not what I wanted, and still gave me the food even though I did explain that I wouldn’t be eating it. I probably wouldn’t go back...

Went with a friend during quiet times, 3pm, as we were attracted by the lovely cake slices in the window. The place seems small from the outside but is more seating inside with cosy warm vibe. Server was welcoming and friendly. Lovely tender large chicken doner, and bread. Tiramisu cake and red velvet cake was also thick, delicious, and not too sweet. The fries were eh, ok, plain. We were offered garlic sause which it tasted better with. Overall, was good for the price, £10 each if split evenly.

Went for dinner on my friend's recommendation, so glad we came here, we ordered the chicken wings, the best I've had in London, it also comes with salad and meze, all were delicious. I also had the baklava and rice pudding with Turkish tea, they were so fresh and delicious. On top of that price is reasonable and the staff are so welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem and as a neighbour I will be coming here regularly.
