Chicken Hub — Restaurant in London

this chicken cottage has changed alot over the years and they did a re-vamp recently. to be honest the previous layout of the shop is much better and airy and now it looks very cramped and dark and less seating than before. the service is becoming very appalling too. no smiles no hello.

i been eating there for very long time and yet just today i found out that they have increased the price of hot wings.. i mean why? on average the wings each cost 25p to 30p so to get £1 i can get 4 wings ...

but this place has cheated the market same wings same flavouring same texture and same size.. but guess what 79p i was like .... so 2 wings for £1.58 thats very steep and wrong.

i mean seriously did they do that on purpose to just overcharge it?

i would not recommend that place to eat as the price is increasing of same type of food just because they want to. its unfair when they had a good price before...

the service is not great.. even when ordering you have to wait 15 minute for it to come out??? simple food is ready hot and they take the mick in making customers wait... then food goes cold.

some staff does not know or respect the customer when asked for sauce... customer can have many sachets... and they are stingy...

respect the customer and listen .. if not .....

The foods pretty standard and over priced for why it is. The place is kept clean, but what good is that if the food ain’t that great and the service is terrible? I ordered some chicken and chips, and when the food was ready, I went to the counter and collected it myself. It wasn’t even that busy, and I don’t mind collections it myself. But what baffled me was that the guy who told me the food was ready waited there for me to collect it, then he followed me to the table right next to me to clear and clean the table. Also, he didn’t give me a fork or tissues, which I had to get back up to ask him for it. He asked what I needed, and when I responded to him, he told me to wait. The man stood there finishing his conversation with the guy behind him, and when he turned back towards me, it was like I’ve never spoke to him before and he was surprised to see me. Then he got the tissue and fork and gave it to me after I stood there for a minute or so. I don’t understand if he was purposely trying to provoke me or had a fall out with the owner to get him bad reviews or what?! Non of it made sense to me. He really did test my patience, but I’m better than him so I didn’t scoop down to his scum level and cause a scene. Absolutely disgusting way to...

I’ve been a regular and loyal customer at Chicken Hub Holborn for quite some time, always enjoying their grilled chicken and rice boxes. However, today’s experience was completely unacceptable.

To my shock and disappointment, I discovered a tiny snail shell in my grilled chicken rice box. As someone who observes halal dietary rules strictly, this is not just unpleasant-it’s deeply concerning and inappropriate. This raises serious questions about hygiene, ingredient handling, and cross-contamination in your kitchen.

I trusted Chicken Hub with my food-and this experience has shattered that trust.

This isn’t just about one shell-it’s about food safety, religious dietary respect, and quality control. I urge the management to investigate how something like this could end up in a customer’s meal and take immediate steps to ensure it never happens again.
