With a group of friends we chose the Cinnamon Restaurant for a bottomless prosecco brunch and it was quite disappointing . The service was pretty slow and we did not feel like the staff was attentive enough especially to refill our glasses. My friends and I get together for a brunch every month and this is the first time we actually had to let the staff know it was time to refill our glasses. The food was correct, but nothing special. There was obviously some miscommunication within the staff. Also, we were served some bread with "olive oil" and balsamic vinegar and knew by knowledge it was not olive oil at all. It tasted more like sunflower or rapeseed oil. This could have been dangerous if any of us had some allergy to any of these oils. This is not to be mean towards you team but just to let you know you really do have to step your game up as we had strong expectations for the Hilton brand. Read moreA shocking experience dining at Cinnamon on Thursday evening 23 August with my boyfriend. There was one female server who was friendly and polite but frankly lost control of the restaurant. At the time there were only two families at the very back of the dining area and they just let their kids go wild - they were screaming, running up and down the hallway of the restaurant, pushing and throwing toy cars everywhere, and chasing each other around in groups of 3-4.... It was nothing you'd expect from dining in a hotel and the waitress did not even try and do something about it.
Moreover, the waitress was also slow and took forever to take our order - we were honestly so close to leaving. Wrong We was seated across from a family who had cartoons on and volume up on the phone. Ruining the atmosphere. We ordered our food. Crispy pork belly for starters. The pork was so underdone the texture made me feel sick. Charred steak was not charred not cooked as specified and i stated medium to make it simple. The blobs of mash seemed to be smash and the peppercorn sauce was thin and dark and full of juices where the steak had not been left to rest. With 2 courses down and over an hour passed by we cancelled dessert and left. We recieved no check back if our meal was ok. Just plates taken and nothing done to correct the meals.
