Dear. Hazev I have seen your response couple of days ago , regarding the London's cosmopolitan nature restaurant i just want to clarify that i was not comfortable from the behavior not the usage of foreign language because something like this is very understandable and I would like to thank you for your response and i appreciate your consideration to my review and i would defiantly visit again and i did, it was a nice chance for me to try new things and i have been served by nice staff in my 3rd and 4th visits in the last days, thank you so much and i wish you all the best

This was my second visit as i came the day before as well because i liked what i purchased, but in my second visit i have had a bad experiance with the person who was serving me, she was very rude, i came to the cafe / cold meze side of the resturant ,i requested a take away order and i was being served by a woman ,she seemed very angry while she was doing my order, every time i ask her for more item to add before she finalise my order she gets more angry and put the item in an agressive way while she is exhaling the air through her nose impatiently and angrily , although thare was no queue ,it was just me and a woman came to order tea and someone eles walked in ,but the place was not busy and i was patiently waiting without rushing her, she angrily was puting my order and forcefully beating the tea glasses on the table while she is making them while the tea was not for me, she was talking with the women while they were looking at me from a distance and although i was unable to understand what they were saying i felt uncomfirtable from the angry behavior in total from the begining ,i was making more order and wanted to have more things but i ended up with having some buscuit or something i dont know what it is because i felt uncomftable and wanted to leave very quickly, while i am not supposed to feel like this as a respectful customer, For my previous visit i asked another woman in the same area about the closing time because it was confusing that you were closing at 10 while in google map it states the close is at 11 and once i told her she said no without checking or explaning I have lived in canary wharf for a while until now and saw how good is this area, and i have visited many resturants that were busier and bigger than your resturant and never been treated in this way, and i know how people well treat their customers I have nothing eles to say rather than that i took my order while i am very disappointed from the way i have been served, and just wanted to pass you this review directly redgardless the outcome, as i belive that me as a customer should always be heard and valued and your business is beinh developed through customers' feedback. I tried to contact the restrant to make a complain and they never replied, if you decide to run a restaurant you should first value your customer

Also the stuffed vine leaves were not home-made, it was just the ready premade that are stored in cans ,that what they were serving which did not...

WOW oh WOW ,Spent a few days in London celebrating my wife very belated 40th Birthday (due to Lockdown) on our final night decided on a slap up meal and something a little different for both our palates was in order a little DLR ride up from our Accommodation in Limehouse had planned to go elsewhere until the elsewhere was fully booked so we took a walk & getting lost was our blessing in disguise as we stumbled across Hazev Restaurant

Table for two at this beautiful looking Turkish restaurant alongside the Quayside we had a table on the open terrace & after some detail reading decided on the Ekin Menu 2 Mezes A Main and a drink £25 each

Now I love food from far away lands where as my wife is a little more selective so based on her tastes the options on the Ekin Menu seemed the right option

Within a few minutes complimentary ice & slice water was on our table with our choice of Efe's Pilsner Lager (I hadn't had this since I was in Turkey 12 years ago) ,a few minutes later our Mezes arrived my wife chose the Red Lentil Soup (with six slices of baguette fresh bread) & some Feta Cheese and Spinach Filo Pastry Parcels on a bed of Salad Leafs think they were called Mercimek Corbasi & Borek And my two mezes were called Kasarli Mantar which was mushrooms garlic onions and tomatoes with melted cheddar cheese and Sucuk ,Spicy Sausage pieces on a bed of salad leafs and tomatoes

The Food looked stunning and was beautiful presented and everything tickled our taste buds ,it was absolutely stunning ,if you like spices that are not too over powering your love it ,I don't like cheese as a rule (prefer it melted) but tasting one of the Filo parcels it was beautifully cooked to perfection

For the main we both had the Hazev Mixed Grill ,with Salad Cous Cous Kofte Diced Lamb and Diced Chicken large cubes ,once again brilliant presentation and the food was cooked to perfection & was delicious ,there was quite sizeable portions even my wife who isn't the biggest eater ate all hers

We were quite stuffed afterwards and both decided against a pudding but if we had I am sure it would have been perfect ,decided on another beer to wash down all the delicious food

Came to pay and was surprised by the Service charge but if I am honest I was ready to tip these guys for their fantastic efforts but honestly if you love something different you can't go wrong with Hazev ,it must have been a huge struggle for these guys to keep going through a pandemic but credit where it is due Every single member of staff who we interacted with was absolutely brilliant

Hazev also has a bar/pub one side of it and a deli on the other side with all options to eat Al fresco or just on the terrace the choice is yours

I do have one regret & that is I live too far away for a delivery or for a pick up but that said if we visit London again Hazev is a place I will 100% be...

I invited guests of 10 people and booked a private room. Unfortunately, I suffered a lot of stress because of the managers. After that, I could not recover from high pressure for three days. They were not organized, very rude, not respectful and not professional. They stopped by several times interrupting our conversation to discuss how to replace the ordered food with another one, as it turned out to be not fresh, so loudly and not culturally, as if they were trading fish in the market. The food was disgusting. After a couple of hours, they asked to vacate the room and go to the bar, supposedly very respectful guests came, knowing that we had booked a room for the whole day. My guests were shocked. I have never seen such treatment. Unfortunately, I was left angry and upset. I left one star because of the location. But I left a tip of £100 for the waiters, who were very embarrassed by the behavior of the managers, they served at the highest level to smooth over the fault of the managers.

Unfortunately or fortunately, with your answer, you proved my point. With your lies, you proved your unprofessionalism and greed. I did not bring food, there were just a few national breads and sweets for the guests. Which you took from the hands of the guests during the meal. You can verify this by recording on video cameras. This was discussed with the manager by phone, who did not confirm his strong employment by e-mail. There were also gifts for the guests. We came to eat your food in your restaurant and ate a non-fresh food advised by one of your managers, it was a leg of lamb. There was no conversation or hint that we do not want to order your food. You are lying shamelessly again. You are now saying that for an additional fee it was possible to negotiate a lease, but your managers (a man and a woman who did not even deign to introduce themselves) did not even want to hear about any of our requests. We begged them to stop arguing and leave us alone for the rest of the party. They shut up and smiled sweetly only when the owner of the restaurant came. Who kindly welcomed us to smooth over the fault of the managers. As it turned out later, the managers of this restaurant are at enmity and set each other up. Among the guests there were two who wanted to conclude an agreement for holding 3 different weddings for 100-150 people. They were not only shocked but also frightened by the behavior of managers. Except for the location and the waiters, everything there is terrible!!!! If I had free time, I would have given you to court for such treatment and service. God...

I should give zero stars for this. First of all, I read the reviews online saying how amazing this place is and how the atmosphere is just as good. Well they must've been high as hell because none of that exists in Hazev. The food was bland, unseasoned. The amount of salt and pepper we drowned our chicken in just so we can taste a bit of flavor was unbelievable. My partners olives tasted off, at first I didn't believe him but even I tried and it just had an off taste to it. I didn't even bother risking my butthole for that olive, rather TRY to enjoy a meal than poison myself on purpose. My food came in a container. A container. I paid £6.50 to EAT IN not TAKE AWAY. And I was served on a container. Even prison food has more flavor than this. We watched the man microwave the food. Why pay for microwavable food when I can get a ready to cook meal from Tesco and make it myself? The atmosphere could've saved the day, but even that was horrible. Dark, most the light bulbs are down or not even there, tables sticky, the tables near the windows look nice but as soon as I sat into their arm chairs I sunk in. No plumping, probably springs gone as well. Also, £1.20 for a 7 up. You'll expect to be served in a cup at least, nope. Pulled straight from the fridge and served to us in a can. Food so bad my partner pulled out a Walkers crisp to satisfy his hunger.
