I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cornerstone pub in Kingston, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This place is an absolute gem, especially if you're looking for a pub to visit before a Chelsea women's match. Firstly, the location of Cornerstone pub is perfect for football enthusiasts. Situated conveniently close to the stadium, it's the ideal spot to gather with fellow fans, soak up the pre-match atmosphere, and get ready to cheer on your favorite team. The pub's proximity to the match venue adds an extra layer of excitement and anticipation, making it a go-to spot for any football lover. Now, let's talk about the food. Cornerstone pub truly knows how to satisfy hungry sports fans. Their menu boasts a wide range of delectable dishes, from classic pub fare to more unique and flavorful options. Whether you're craving a hearty burger, crispy wings, or even some vegetarian delights, they have something to please every palate. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring you'll leave the pub feeling satisfied and ready for the match. One of the standout features of Cornerstone pub is the inclusion of fun games and TVs playing football at the tables. This ingenious addition allows patrons to enjoy their meal while being fully immersed in the game. It's like having a private viewing party right at your table! This brilliant concept creates a lively and energetic atmosphere, perfect for getting into the spirit of the match and engaging in friendly banter with fellow football enthusiasts. Furthermore, the staff at Cornerstone pub is top-notch. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu, always ready to provide recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. Their friendly and efficient manner ensures that your experience at Cornerstone pub is nothing short of exceptional. In conclusion, I highly recommend Cornerstone pub in Kingston. Whether you're looking for a great spot before a Chelsea women's match, delicious food, or a unique football-themed experience, this pub has it all. With its fantastic location, mouthwatering menu, and engaging games and TVs at the tables, it's the perfect place to gather with friends, indulge in good food, and cheer on your team. Don't miss out on this amazing pub – it's truly a five-star experience!

I have visited the Cornerstone twice this week after not being around Kingston for a number of years. Last time remember it being a Hungry Horse (another Greene King brand) with the atmosphere of a zoo. The new place is really nice, many of the cheaper catchy offers have gone from the menu - along with the at table TV's with Peppa Pig and other junk blaring away in every booth and toy machines not in every corner. Popped in here today (Tuesday 16th January 2024) for a couple of drinks in the afternoon while freezing cold outside. The pub is so warm, quiet and friendly the hours passed quickly. Was only going to pop in for a quick drink, but stayed longer. The Madri was served perfectly. Decided to stay on for food as was so comfortable here. Ordered a Southern fried chicken burger and fries. It was served fresh, steaming hot with crispy fries. Full of flavour and an all-round hit - highly recommended to anyone. Had a great evening here, would happily recommend to others, and I will return again. Thank you for making my day better, its much appreciated 😊 --- Back again... updated 17/05/2024: Popped by for a drink and some food after work. New menu so had to find something new to try.. Went for the Salt & Pepper Chilli Chicken....came with a pot full of Katsu curry sauce and chips.. so much flavour and perfect! Glad gave this new item a try! Service 10/10 as usual too. Thumbs 👍

I booked for my work gathering with my team members in advance for the 6th Jan. I asked for the opening times, I was told 11pm on Monday evening. I also said I will order some nibbles, which was fine for them, did not say anything specific. When I arrived, the area wasn't even ready for us with "reserved" signs. We wanted to order one more sharing plate, as they were not so big, they told us the kitchen has closed. This was 7pm. Should have been nice to know in advance. I've asked how the shuffle table works to play, as we have never done this before, the bartender said: I don't know, instructions on the side, asked manager - he said the same. I went to the bar at 10pm to order drinks and the manager said: we are closed. I ask how is this possible, as the website says 11pm, and I was told 11pm when I booked? He became very upset and said he is opening tomorrow and legally he needs 11h break between his shifts. I tried to explain that I appreciate his shift issues however we were not told about the early closing, I expected my team to have the gathering until 11pm, however the manager, Ashley his name was, became more annoyed and upset, where he raised his voice at some point and said he doesn't care, he's quitting anyway. Now, me and me team we all work in hospitality, so we do understand tough times with short staffing and busy days, however professionalism was nowhere showed this evening. This should not be the customer's fault, and should have handled in a different way as we just left nearly £800 there, and received such a bad service with bad...
