D'accord — Restaurant in London

Went in there just as it seemed to be closing, very cramped space with a push chair and odd vibe. Owner was polite enough to say sorry for the wait while I waited outside for a customer to finish. No idea why it was closing pre lunch but went with a flat white and a croissant rather than the bigger meal I wanted. I'd travelled from the main part of kilburn because of the reviews and there weren't many other options in the area.

Given a basic croissant and average flat white. Charged £9.50.

Literally my brain had a breakdown at this point and the strange vibe in there made it feel uncomfortable to question it. I've lived in London for 10+ years and had a million coffee and pastries twice the size and quality and it's never come close to that price. £3.50 for a flat white at most so then is it £6 for a croissant? Absolute madness or...

Why anyone would want to use a bland generic coffee shop when you have gems like D'Accord in the community. Not being from the area a simple google search and it was the reviews on the croissants that had me enticed. Walking with a dog we were both welcomed in and certainly not disappointed the coffee is as good as the welcome and the conversation flows with genuine friendliness, if I'm back in the area I will be back and...

A million times no. I’m ashamed that this cafe is in my area at all.

Even the coffee is overpriced but they wanted to charge me £12 for a jar of olives.

There is a large dog wandering around the food preparation area with no control.
