Extremely Disappointing Experience at Domino's - Avoid This Location!

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Domino's location I visited on 17th June 2024. I was trying to place a large order for a group of friends, which would have easily exceeded £120. Unfortunately, I was out of data, so I called the store to inquire about any available deals.

The person who answered the phone claimed to be the manager, though later introduced himself as Jay. From the start, he was unhelpful and dismissive. When I explained that I couldn't check the website due to running out of data, he rudely told me to go online and even started raising his voice. The conversation ended abruptly when he shouted, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU," and hung up on me.

Left with no choice, I had to travel to the store to place my order. I arrived at 10:50 PM, only to witness the same manager on the phone with another customer, shouting, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU," and hanging up mid-conversation. This repeated behavior was shocking.

By the time he was ready to take my order, it was 10:54 PM. When I asked about available deals, he pointed to the menu without providing any helpful information. Despite explaining that I was ordering for a large group, he rudely insisted that time was running out. As I was still deciding on the order, he abruptly said, "Time's up," and told me to leave. He then instructed his colleagues to start packing up, even though it wasn't 11 PM yet.

I tried to explain that I had already attempted to order over the phone multiple times and had traveled to the store specifically to place my order. He ignored me, walked away, and started speaking to his colleagues in another language while they all stared at me, making me feel very uncomfortable.

Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I will never order from this Domino's location again and would advise others to avoid it as well. If you're looking for better service, I recommend ordering from Pizza...

I ordered some chicken kickers from here and once I bit into them they smelled awful, like they had been cooked with chicken that had gone off. I tried another piece in the hope it was just a bad one.  I then gave my husband one to try and he confirmed it was bad too.  We’ve ordered this several times before and it didn’t taste like it usually does. I’m currently 8 months pregnant and that makes me even more worried about whether the meat was off and could be unhealthy. I called the store and the guy who answered basically said too bad everyone else is fine with the kickers. I said you can’t be selling unhealthy chicken to customers with no offer of a refund. He said he couldn’t give a refund but would send a replacement. The new box was less smelly but was still stale. The guy delivering it asked for my old box which had the remaining kickers in it. I gave it to him. I then get a call from the store harassing me saying I’ve eaten multiple pieces and so the kickers were obviously fine.  I said I had to try a couple of pieces as I wasn’t sure if it was just a bad piece or what. All the while there was no sign of an apology for serving disgusting stale chicken. On top of that the guy was really rude. I order dominos pretty regularly and I’m not sure I ever will again. Dominos might still be good but the quality of food from this store is disgusting. Don’t order from here.

Edit: they reply saying they’re concerned but they don’t give any details of a contact form or actually do any follow up work. Dominos you’ve lost my business...

Totally awful after waiting 50 minutes for the pizza after being told 20 mins into the order the driver was on his way not sure why it takes 30 mins for a 5 min journey. Enjoying my day off, had nice bath hair wet with dressing gown on waiting for pizza to then be told after 50 minutes of waiting that they wouldn't come inside my building and deliver it to my door, I don't want to get dressed and make myself presentable just to take delivery of a pizza.The guy said that a delivery guy was robbed recently and he wouldn't come into my building. It's lunchtime on a weekday they have my name and phone number and card details, other people manage to deliver so after a conversation on the intercom where the driver was with my pizza and refusing to come to my door I rang up and asked for a refund. After an hour and totally starving I rang papa John's the guy was great and offered me a 20 percent discount and arrived quickly and delivered to my door.I will never use Domino's again...
