📍Farmer J's, Various Locations I was looking for a quick vegan healthy vegan lunch and found this spot called Farmer J's 🚜 Food 🌱 They do load of different vegetables from charred broccoli to miso coleslaw 🥗- everything is also clearly labelled so it was easy for me to chose! I went with the Smoked Chill Miso Tofu Fieldbowl 🥣 It was filling fuel I needed to get through the rest of the work day 💃 Sometimes I really struggle to find quick healthy vegan food that's easily accessible - where should I try next? #inclusivelyvegan #foodiesLondon #plantbasedlunch #farmerjfood #fieldtray #healthylunch #veganlunchoption #plantbasedeastlondon #veganabroad #vegantravel #plantbasedtravel @Farmer J Food

Farmer J Regent Street I recently had the opportunity to dine at Farmer J on Regent Street, and I must say that it was a delightful experience. Farmer J is a restaurant that focuses on serving healthy, delicious food in a welcoming ambiance, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. First and foremost, the food at Farmer J is exceptional. They pride themselves on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and it truly shines through in the flavors of their dishes. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, there are plenty of options to choose from. Their menu features a variety of salads, grain bowls, wraps, and protein-based plates. I opted for their grilled chicken bowl, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. One aspect that stood out to me was the emphasis on healthy eating. Farmer J offers a range of nutritious options without compromising on taste. They provide a detailed breakdown of the nutritional information for each item on the menu, making it easier for health-conscious individuals to make informed choices. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that caters to those seeking wholesome meals without sacrificing taste. The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. The interior is contemporary and inviting, with a clean and minimalistic design. The warm lighting and comfortable seating create a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Another noteworthy aspect of Farmer J is their commitment to sustainability. They prioritize eco-friendly practices by using biodegradable packaging, reducing food waste, and supporting local farmers. This dedication to sustainability adds an extra layer of appeal to the overall dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Farmer J on Regent Street for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious meal in a pleasant environment. Whether you're a health-conscious individual or simply appreciate great food, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. The combination of fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, inviting ambiance, and a commitment to sustainability sets Farmer J apart from other establishments.

Today I visited Farmer J for the first time on my friend’s recommendation and oh my god this was the best food I’ve had in recent time. First I was confused about all the options and got overwhelmed by the food choices but Piyush explained me very clearly and friendly. He explained about all the protein options as well as side options. And I got nuts allergy so he called his supervisor (Vivek) and he assisted me very carefully and explained me about cashew miso salad and also aware me about the open kitchen. I am vegetarian so not a lot of shops has vegetarian options but Farmer J has verity of vegetarian options and they’ve got one of the best tasting tofu I’ve ever had. Piyush suggested me tofu with grains and sides of broccoli and sweet potatoes and I got red pepper sauce as well to complement my plate. I must say the staff here is very friendly and welcoming. The place was really clean as well. All the team members were working together and assisting all the customers very nicely. I would recommend my this place to my friends as well.

Judging by the photos others have posted in other reviews, I know I was short changed. The food is delicious and the first person who helped me - wonderful. From there it all went a bit downhill. It was not a busy afternoon and there wasn't anyone immediately behind ne in the queue, yet the second person in the assembly line was not responsive to questions, and after I heard her order more aubergine from the kitchen (there was only 1 piece left on the counter), I asked for some as one of my sides. I also asked for a salad - I saw her dish it into the pot. I was then pushed through the queue at lightning speed (I can see where this is a good thing) and led to a somewhat aggressive person at the till who looked at me as if I were crazy to ask about the allergy info on the pastries (so I didn't get one). Before I knew it, I was being asked to pay and my dish was on the counter. So I paid and went back to work.

But wait.... where was my salad? And that lonely piece of old aubergine was sitting in the space where a side should be. The person working the side section only took the last small piece of aubergine and easily 2 tablespoons of sauce for my plate and didn't wait for the replenishment from the kitchen that I know was made while I was there. I saw it. The one little piece I had was very nice and it would have been great to get the full portion I had paid for. (and the salad).

If it were busy (and I know it can get very busy), I could see where they just wanted to get people through the process, but where's the customer service? Especially when it's not busy. I was hugely disappointed and feel a bit taken advantage of if i'm honest as a someone who's never been there before. With the exception of the first guy, everyone pretty much rolled their eyes if I asked a question. I guess making sure people with allergies are informed isn't a priority either.

I would've rated much lower if the food that was in my plate weren't delicious, but it was. In stark contrast, another assemble your own salad bowl is next door that has a much more complicated menu and the same customer volume and I have never had a similar experience there.

Reaching out to ask about being reimbursed for my salad proved very difficult too, hopefully, this review and...
