On 03.9.24 at around 3pm I accompanied my brother to the boots branch at regents street, he was purchasing some medication from the pharmacy counter. This was my first time visiting this branch. Whilst my brother was asking questions regarding the medication, the employee who was serving my brother kept staring at me which I found very strange, he became very aggressive towards my brother and told him he was unable to sell the medication to him, he started to accuse me of giving him a fake £50 note last Monday. I tried to assure him that he has got the wrong person but he continues and became more abusive and threatened to call the police at which point I told him if he believes it was me then he should go ahead and call the police and I would be happy to wait for them to turn up. The employee who accused me then called security and told him to watch me whilst he checked the CCTV. I explained to security what I was being accused of and he confirmed that it was not me and he had never seen me before. At this point the manager has come to the shop floor and I explained again what I was being accused of. The security confirmed to the manager that he had not seen me before and I am not the person who the employee is talking about. The manager aggressively asked security to move away. The store manager asked me for my details which I provided, when I asked him for his details to raise a complaint he refused to provide me with any details. I managed to get his name off his name badge which was Hasid. I left the shop and returned to see if they had viewed the CCTV footage. I told them I was not leaving until the police were called as they falsely accused me of committing a crime. The management assured me that the situation would be dealt with and he would call me to let me know what the outcome is. The way in which the employee and management presented themselves was appalling and unprofessional. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. I was not offered any form of apology, instead the employee was hiding behind the counter, knowing full well that he made a false accusation. I have some footage of the events that took place for my records should you need to see it. I hope that this complaint is investigated and the manager and staff member are held accountable for their actions. I hope that serious action is taken, if I do not hear back I will be forced to take legal action against the management and...
Read moreJust like others, I have had a bad experience here too.
Came into the store to get a lipgloss that i usually get from boots but not this particular branch.
I come in and look for the stall with lipgloss when I get there, there’s other few ones that i saw and wanted to try too.
Now the thing is, the mirror is on the other end of the stall so you either take a few put them on the table and try one by one or go back and forth trying each which i did.
Now this lady, She’s definitely south Asian and short, referencing this as I didnt get her name. she see’s me and she comes straight to me. So close that our bodies literally touch. I step aside and look at her and she just looks at me and says nothing. My boyfriend was sitting at the table where the mirror was, he sees what’s happening and comes to us immediately putting some distance between us. I don’t know if she wanted to fight me or physically move me from the shop. Either way, she’s terrible.
I ask the lady why she did that and she literally just stares at me and pretends to be replenishing. remember she was on the other side of the shop and as soon as she saw me, she sprints over. I have never been to this shop ever. she wasn’t doing anything on the stall nor did it look like there was anything happening.
Such disgusting behaviour and no personal boundaries at all or professionalism.
I don’t know if that’s how boots trains its customer service advisors or it’s the personal behaviour, whatever it is, it’s very bad and reckon a change...
Read moreNEEDS MORE STAFF. I had issues with self service till, no staff to be found anywhere, someone near me ended up abandoning their shopping- in the end the kind Security Guard managed to call a staff member to assist. The staff member had a bad attitude, its basic customer service to acknowledge the customer and perhaps even make eye contact instead of shuffling up and saying ‘can i get there..’ (to get to the self service till). How do people like this succeed at their job interview?
To top it off I have noticed that I got charged the wrong price for an item which is displayed as ‘on offer’.
My advice - don’t go to this rubbish store, the other nearby ones on Oxford St are so...
