We ( my wife and son with a stroller) have visited soho branch today and this was my 3rd time and there was a queue and the manager came and told us it will take around 25mins. When there was only one person in front of us… the manager came and asked my wife to fold the stroller (my wife thought our table is ready) so she went inside to put the stuff so she can fold the stroller, the manager jumped in extremely rude way with poker face and said to my wife: why did you go in and its not your turn? She smiled and said… i thought my table is ready because your told me to fold the stroller. Again he said : you shouldnt go in before other customers ( obviously he didnt want to listen). Anyways we passed this with a smile.
Then we sat in a very small table which is normal for breakfast club, then we ordered with a nice waitress that was always smilling. After we received the food, the bun bread was tough maybe be because was toasted more than what it should be so we asked the nice waitress and she said she will bring a sharp knife and she did. But the problem is still with the bread ( and we know its much softer since we had the same order 2 days earlier so we asked the lady to change the bread only (its true we ate half of it but we have told the lady from the beginning). The manager jumped in and sayed : you ate it all!! Again in extremely very rude and unprofessional way. Here i got pissed because of the way he treated us ( i believe he has issue with arab people) so i told him we told the lady before not from now!! Then i was shocked that he replied: its on us and you must leave now because you are rude.
I told him can you explain rude and tell me what did we do to say we are rude? He said you shouted on me! While i didnt Honestly its the 1st time to see a manager dealing with customer like this in anywhere… clearly customer service is the last thing Breakfast Club cares for Thank you and this is the last time and i would never recommend this...
Read moreArrived at the restaurant at 12.45 was seated, ordered to lattes and 2 breakfasts I ordered the biggest breakfast, which cost £13.50 the waitress said they had run out of sausages, so opted to have extra bacon. I stipulated that I wanted my eggs runny as that’s the only way I’ll eat them. The coffees arrived very quickly. At 13.20 still no breakfast, I asked the waiter how long for the breakfast it came at 13.30.
When the breakfast arrived I was shocked to say the least. I was meant to get extra bacon I got 2 rashers which were hard and tasted more like Biltong or beef jerky, the eggs were hard, the breakfast was meant to come with black pudding there was no black pudding, there was a scattering of potatoes on the side which they spread about to try and make the plate look full up.
They gave me a vegan sausage 🙈 which I can not even comment on. When I said where’s the black pudding he said, you said you didn’t want any, I said I never said anything of the sort, he checked the order and said I’ll get some made up for you now, the breakfast was already cold so having to wait 10 mins extra would have made the breakfast taste like it was from the fridge.
These guys brand themselves as an American dinner well I’ve been all over the states and eaten many breakfasts, this is nothing like an American breakfast. To say I felt ripped off was an understatement.
I wouldn’t eat here again, I’ve eaten many breakfasts all over London and this was probably the worst for value and quality, it reminded me of eating a breakfast from the little big chef at a motor way service station, I can understand there poor breakfast as it never cost more then a fiver. This was nearly 3 times as expensive. It was shocking and a complete waste of money and a terrible dinning experience to...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing place. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was really crispy and freshly cooked, the waffles were really light and fluffy. I had the strawberry ripple milkshake to go with it and it is probably the best milkshake I have ever had. The person I went with had the gluten free pancakes with bannana and chocolate ganche which were amazing. We went because of the fact they offered gluten free options and nearly the whole menu was gluten free. All the staff were so friendly, happy and worked extremely hard. We did have a wait outside to go in as it was very busy but the staff kept us updated on the wait time and it was well worth the wait. As you can tell from my reviews i have eaten at alot or different places and this is definitely up there as one of the best and one of my favourites. A special special shout out to Gavin who did not stop the whole time we were there and absolutely worked his socks off. He was also extremely friendly and helpful. We had such a lovely breakfast that we went back the next day where we both had the strawberry milkshake, I had the big stack so I could try the pancakes which were lovely and fluffy and I really enjoyed it. The person I was with had the gluten-free pancakes, cream and berries which was very good aswell. Once again all the staff were very friendly. The portion sizes are...
