The food is decent but the service could be better. I got a pastry yesterday; layers of puff pastry with icing sugar on top. I asked the staff if the pastry had any filling. They were confused what I meant initially but I explained cream, curd, chocolate like anything inside. They looked unsure but said no. I asked if they're sure and they said they are but looked irritated. The pastry had lemon curd in it 🙄 didnt find out till after. The coffee some days is good other days it's burnt. Please maintain consistency in your food and TRAIN your staff. I'd be wary about eating here or ordering anything if you've gotten allergies or need to rely on the staff's knowledge. Read moreHaven't been here in a few years, but in a recent visit, they still nice have good, reasonably £€ priced coffee and various Portuguese delicacies and snacks.
Plus there's a small grocery shop in the back if you're missing your tastes from home, Portuguese beer, etc.
Wide opening hours, including Sundays, but greater lunch menu selection during weekdays (my cousin tells me!). Come here for a taste of Stockwell's "Little Portugal" in London.
