Halfway between Stockwell and Brixton tube this place is easy to get too. I went to see some live music and the pub has a stage down one side. They have a large variety of drinks and the staff were both fast and nice as well, you won't wait ages to get served. They have a food offering but I did not try this. There is a garden to the rear which was busy with plenty of seating. Loos were clean and everything worked. I knocked one star off simply as the lighting for the stage could be improved though it's way better than some other places I have been too. Overall a really nice pub that if you passing is well worth popping into

Good pub with a very good beer selection. Has a little stage area for presumably live acts. Service was fine and staff were friendly. Only issue was the place was a bit cold due to the weather, but I can imagine it being glorious in the summer. Our main reason for visiting was to try the pizza (PickyWops have currently taken over the kitchen). It was absolutely delicious (we got the protein punch and a greenman with stuffed crust) and the trek to Brixton worth it. That said, if we lived closer we'd definitely visit more often just for drinks; the place has a very nice vibe :)

Good as always and more. The pizza is delicious and doesn't spend ages to arrive. The drinks are average London price, but goog quantity. Clean and with many seats and tables. There is live music every Sunday. Variable genre, but mainly funky, ska and Jazz. Really suggested.

The staff are excellent - friendly and fun. They do their best keeping us customers happy without having beer to serve. Sadly, there’s almost never more than 1 beer choice on tap. The beers are overpriced and the Sunday roasts are long gone. Replacing a menu with only vegan pizzas doesn’t give much to regulars who want a choice. Even the outdoor sound system doesn’t seem to work so no music in the beer garden. I’ve never seen a full range of beers available once. Last night was the worst with just 2 on tap and having to buy canned Stella takes away the purpose of going to the pub... Sad to see a nice local...

Been going here for years, and it's changed lot's over these years. The current iteration is good. Staff and nice and helpful. The food, until recently, was exceedingly good value (apart from veggie) but recently it seems they have simplified the menu a little. Veggie now has a few options, however the mushroom burger was disappointed... It needs more mushroom and cheese and the spinach should have been wilted a little... IMO (the relish was tasty as farq though).

Good 🍺 selection that changes a little over time, and they seem to try to get local and guest breweries in.

Would definitely...
