I wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re looking of some authentic Italian food that actually tastes good and not overpriced.
Out of everything we ordered, the best part was the mocktails and the wine.
The portions are small (although it looks good). Expensive (I’d say overpriced).
We encountered a few disappointing things during our dinner: the pigeon was so chewy and hard, so it was impossible to cut or eat it (the octopus was also very chewy in a bad way, definitely not cooked for long enough) the baba (dessert) was SO dry! It is NOT supposed to be like that the chocolate mousse was served FROZEN and I believe that’s not what it supposed to be like pasta here simply tasted bad, even a kid didn’t like the bolognese
We addressed all our concerns to the waiters, they agreed with us but guess what… they didn’t even suggest removing certain dishes form the bill?? Yes, they asked if we wanted some more desserts, but it was pretty obvious that we didn’t like it (and we were actually in a hurry), but I think that such a high-class restaurant (as it claims to be biased on the price) SHOULD at least give more options to its customers when it comes to the poor quality of the food. We had to ask to remove the pigeon and the desserts from the bill (because it was literally not eatable), so instead of £360 we payed around £290.
I am greatly disappointed and I do not recommend coming here. Although the waiters were kind enough to ask us about our experience at this restaurant throughout the course, it is a shame that we paid so much for such a bad...

Must try Tagliolini Cacio E Pepe (Homemade Tagliolini with creamy cheese and pepper) and Gnocchi With Black Truffles (very delicate and AMAZING!!!). I have never been a huge fan of Italian food till now - I would eat those two dishes I mentioned daily for the rest of my life (I would need to move to London). Eat and enjoy it - no need to worry about "carbs" - this is not it - it is extremely light and tasty. You will feel great. If you have room to spare - do not forget to get some Tiramisu - very special - comes served slightly chilled and with a shot of espresso that you pour at the table and wait 2 min for the coffee to warm up Tiramisu. Enjoy it. Great wine to pair the entire meal with is called Friulano...
Read moreAvoid at all costs. This place deserves a 0 star rating, as there was not a single positive thing. Firstly, there’s a noticeable drift inside, making the inside temperature quite cold. Secondly, the tablecloth quality is so bad that it was actively shedding, leaving visible lint all over our clothes. Thirdly, after someone finally took our order, we had to wait an hour, yes a whole hour, for our pasta. When it finally arrived, the portion size of caico e pepe, which we had payed an extra £5 to make it a “main dish”, was beyond astonishing. As in, I’ve ordered sides and starters at similar places with more sustenance, that weren’t £22 a piece. The starter, croquets, was bland to say the least. At the end we left pretty much as hungry as we were before coming and the management didn’t seem to care. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place less. Utter waste of money, and more...
