I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones, but in this case, I feel compelled to do so. For anyone planning to apply for a visa to Denmark, please be aware of the visa processing times. Keep in mind that they can extend the processing time unexpectedly, making it incredibly long. I am baffled by the 60-80 day processing time just to make a visa decision, which is quite unreasonable.
Applicants submit all required documents, specify their intended departure dates, and apply within what seems like a reasonable timeframe (2 weeks to 1 month). However, it turns out that the processing time can extend to 45, 60, or even, in the worst case, 85 days. This is highly inefficient. I have tried to expedite my visa application, but unfortunately, the response from the Embassy lacks any compassion. They consistently refer to their system-based processing, which seems to lack any human element.
If this is the case, why not limit the number of visa appointments to prevent such lengthy delays? Imagine the amount of money wasted on accommodation and flights due to the unprofessional and extended visa processing time, which is a stark contrast to the image Denmark portrays as a happy, helpful, and humane nation.
I hope the staff can work more professionally and show empathy, especially towards foreign nationals who are often treated differently than their own citizens. From other reviews, it seems the Embassy only prioritizes helping its...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the prolonged delay in processing my friend's passport and visa application. It has been over two months since the application was submitted, and there has been no progress or updates provided by your embassy.
Frankly, I am perplexed by the decision to release new appointment slots and accept fresh applications when it appears that the existing applications are not being processed in a timely manner. This situation has caused immense inconvenience and uncertainty for my friend, who has been eagerly awaiting their visa for travel purposes.
I kindly request that you review the current status of my friend's passport and visa application as a matter of urgency. It is crucial that you provide clear and timely updates on the progress and expected timeline for completion. Transparency and efficient communication in these matters are essential for maintaining trust and confidence in the embassy's services.
Furthermore, I urge the embassy to reevaluate its appointment system to ensure that the processing capacity aligns with the demand. By efficiently managing the existing applications, you can avoid accepting new applications if they cannot be...
Read moreI am a PhD engineering student from Kuwait and living in the UK. I have visited almost all the countries of Europe, totaling almost 57 counties throughout my life. Unfortunately this year, I have decided that Denmark will be my next destination to explore. I was completely stunned with how the delay took over 3 months for the Denmark visa. I finally got a call of them asking me why I needed to visit Denmark. I have answered with exploring the country, museums, try their special dishes and specifically mentioned a hotel on the city centre of Copenhagen that included an oasis. I was then excited to receive the visa approval to visit this country, where shockingly they have REFUSED my application!! This is not my first time in Europe and Denmark was the first to refuse me !! !! And the reason for the rejection is because I don't know the places in Denmark, of course, I don't know everything in Denmark because I didn't visit it, I think this is an absurd reason to get a refusal, I have travelled to Australia, USA, Almost whole Europe, the middle east, India, China, and Indonesia and NEVER received this kind of service. I wish this embassyâs service improves as it seriously effects tourism in...
