Incoming Coffee — Restaurant in London

Second time trying this place and sorry to say it’s not great. The barista makes ZERO effort to acknowledge you. I had to say “hello” twice just to prompt a grunt from him that signalled he knew I was there, and I was the only person in the shop. Not even a “that’s £3.30 please?” or ‘Thank You’ when you pay/leave. Literally radio silence! Makes it very awkward. Given that this is a small, private business it’s crucial to recruit loyal, returning customers. I shan’t return again. I love supporting independent businesses, especially coffee shops, but I have to like the place to want to see it do well. The space smells like very very acidic coffee, I was afraid the coffee will taste acidic and it did have weird underlying taste. The barista was not welcoming even though there was no one in the queue, no ‘hello’ no thank you even though he saw me coming in.
