We had, literally, one of the best for meals we have had anywhere at Indian Masala.

The place is modest: small tables and folded paper towels for napkins. BUT the food was delicious and different. My favorite was the daal. You may have had daal before, it's a staple for us, but you have not tasted anything this good before. Excellent food always fresh, thats why they always run out of my favourite Shingaras, a type of veg Samosa but with thicker pastry and traditionally filled with potatoes and peas although you can also get a liver one. Nowadays they have chicken meat allsorts as fillings. But this place always cooks fresh and if it runs out for the day then you will probably get it the next time they cook it. Which is a sign of freshness and chef's cooking is very tasty...

Recently I got some takeaway food from there. Beef Shatkora Bhuna was a con , there's no meet at all only bones I was very disappointed. I paid £7 pound for this dish. There's hardly any meet only broken bones. No taste of Shatkora whatsoever. This was my first time, having seen the reviews I wanted to try it out . However I was very disappointed.
