Inn 1888 Pub & Pizzeria. — Restaurant in London

Can I give this place 10 Stars? The Inn 1888 in Marylebone is an Awesome Gasto Pub not too far from Harley street is an absolutely charming pub that apparently has got a lot better with the new management this year.

The two owners are The friendliest and most inviting chaps you’ll ever be blessed to meet, they make you feel like you’re hanging out at a mate’s home.

The Music is Awesome played at a sensible level from 1950s rock n’ roll right up to 80’s stuff, not the usual pub fodder -which is a blessing to the ears

And it adds to the charm and the atmosphere of the Victorian tiled place with it’s gorgeous décor mirrors, stained glass, leather. Lovely vibe and lovely wide selection of Ales and possibly old favourites.

The food is just too damn good, the oven baked pizzas are addictive. A decent selection of Thai food as well, which the Mrs n’ me will dig into if we can resist the awesome Pizza.

Excellent service all of the staff and the servers are so warm, friendly and inviting but never over the top.

Very well kept, they’ve got a 5 Star rating for Hygiene – which is particularly important in this current time and quite reassuring. We’ve been both when it’s quiet during the afternoon and in the evening when it’s bustling.

Both have their own charm, as when you’ve there with just a few punters you feel like you’re in your own secret little hideaway that is just of charm and warmth of the Owners and Staff alike.

But when it’s bustling, you feel like you’re at a Mate’s party but not too crazy – rather civilized but fun & jolly aided by the friendly ambiance and great warm friendly atmosphere.

Reasonable prices, excellent food, ales, gin & wine, welcoming staff and lovely music, well worth a visit or three.

What a gem of a gastro pub!!! Where to start? Great drinks selection, great atmosphere with an old school taste, and (last but not least) a pizza selection on par with an authentic Italian pizzeria in Rome.

How to forget about the true heart and soul of this lovely venue: the staff. Enzo is such a lovely and kind soul, who adds a welcoming and warm touch to the bar. Gabriele and George blend professionalism and a friendly vibe exquisitely.
