There is no such thing as generous portions in Greek restaurants I've tried them all in London for 22 years of my dining experiences. They all have stingy portions compared this to Turkish and Lebanese/Arab middle eastern restaurants do the SAME food and same seasoning they just have a different name and only 5 mins walk you can go to Edgware road or go to a Turkish restaurant have the tzaziki cucumber yoghurt dip and Greek salad flat bread for very generous portions and generous ingredients. The wine Ellina's £22 which says on bottle specifically bottled isnt top notch just average taste average and merry level average. I can walk just 3 mins to majestic wine and get very tasty wine and high buzz merry mind for less half price and even the Indian restaurant few doors away Rajdoots have an amazing tasty wine and so do Home Marylebone the corner pub end of Paddington street with decorative ceiling of plants decor. The tzakiki yogurt they say has gherkins in there, it has no taste of even gherkins. The Greek flatbread is so miserly too. I don't know whats with the Greek restaurants in UK extremely miserly stingy compared to their similar Mediterranean restaurants and foods. In Greece it is not like this it's of course nice. It wasnt worth me paying £44 for my Uber order I thought the wine be outstanding but has no flavour no character no body just maybe 20% other restaurants stock better wine. the only item which was nice tasty and quenched my thirst was the EPSA lemonade. The salad tiny portion few red onions Greek cheese had no flavour even waitrose Greek feta cheese has an amazing great taste. Honestly I've ordered many times in Greek restaurants and it's always the same stingy. I can go or order from Turkish Lebanese Arab get way worth my meal and price big portions generous bread salad everything and flavourful which will even last me 2 more meal times. I was still hungry after I ate the yoghurt nothing special no thickness they say it's the best Greek yogurt but I've had the best even from a supermarket ! I don't know why they think giving descriptions is going to do them any good. I was still hungry after eating their basic Greek salad. Real greek don't use the best ingredients they are just being cheap I'm so annoyed. Everywhere else they use best ingredients.

Extremely disappointing experience with a Just Eat delivery from this restaurant. The order arrived late and was incomplete: both chicken skewers were missing – there were only five loose pieces of meat in the box, with visible skewer holes, as if one skewer had already been eaten. The chickpea salad was also missing entirely. I called the restaurant immediately to report the issue, but their response was shockingly rude and unhelpful. They insisted everything had been given to the driver and showed no concern whatsoever for the missing items or the unacceptable condition of the food. No apology, no solution offered – they simply told me to take it up with Just Eat and ended the call. Thankfully, Just Eat acknowledged the problem and refunded me for the missing parts of the meal, but this incident was serious and completely unprofessional. Even if the issue happened after the food left the restaurant — for example, if the driver mishandled or took part of the order — it is still completely unacceptable that the restaurant showed no concern, offered no apology, and made no effort to address the situation. Instead, they were rude on the phone, hung up on me, and even questioned what I was saying. I have attached a photo of what was delivered to clearly show the state of the food and support what I’ve reported. I won’t be ordering from here again and will only use my remaining Just Eat credit for pre-packaged items to avoid a similar situation. Truly appalling service!

Tremendous service from Zain. He was extremely knowledgeable and supportive to explain the menu options when ordering. His attention and care to ensure I was comfortable was appreciated throughout my visit to add to the exceptionally well prepared food. Zain is a model employee and his genuine dedication and enthusiasm was notably maintained with all customers, whilst coordinating with the chefs in the kitchen. These are not only the highest standards, providing me my best experience at The Real Greek but also evidence of his outstanding qualities as a human being shining through in his professionalism. I strongly believe that he will swiftly continue his progression in hospitality but is ready to, and deservingly lead at a Michelin star restaurant. Thank you.

As someone who is half Greek and deeply proud of our culture, I can confidently say The Real Greek delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had — and not just because of the food (which was truly excellent).

What truly set this evening apart was the exceptional service. The two waiters (Natalia & Roodouina) who looked after us — with their incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely positive attitudes — brought warmth and hospitality that you rarely come across, even in the most traditional Greek establishments. Both Natalia & Roodouina always treated us with a smile, made great recommendations and showed the kind of graciousness that makes you feel like family.

This, for me, was the best service I’ve ever experienced in a Greek restaurant. And what’s even more special — it came from individuals who may not even be Greek themselves, yet they embodied the very essence of filoxenia far better than many who are.

A beautiful reflection of our culture, shared through heart, kindness, and pride. Bravo 👏🇬🇷 #TheRealGreek #FiloxeniaInAction...
