Diptyque Marylebone — Local services in London

I love the brand. I made many purchases in the past but never in Diptyque shop that located on Marylebone street. Today I went there. I can agree with the previous review- the Customer service was absolutely Horrible. When I came in there was no other customers there and two shop assistants. I was in a middle of purchasing when the other customer came in and Both shop assistants switched off from me and started running around and serving another customer. It felt very unpleasant. The other customer requested lots a lots of free samples which I saw were brought to him from the stock room, then in the middle of the process that customer left to have a cigarette outside and chat with his friends. Both shop assistants waited a few minutes and finally decided to turn their attention back to me. I managed to pay and finally left the shop. I purchased 2 perfumes but didn't get any samples I usually do when I buy things in Other Diptique shops. Probably Shop assistants wanted to please so much the other “rude “ customer they rushed to take my payment and see me out. I won't be back to that shop ever again. I have been wanting to find a new scent and Diptyque has been at the top to explore. Their warm and welcoming environment was felt the minute I walked in! I believe her name was Sam, but she showed me a number of beautiful scents and listened to help me find what worked for me. I found the most intoxicating scent -Eau Duelle. I didn’t buy it, because I wanted to wear it and see how it changed and lasted. I woke up this morning and still could smell it faintly-what a surprise! I’ll definitely be back to buy it!

Excellent service at this store. I don't often leave reviews but I had a wonderful experience at this shop and I wanted to sing its praises! I came last week searching for a wedding present for my sister, not sure what I wanted, and I left with not only the perfect gift for her but also a smile on my face; the staff were very helpful - attentive, knowledgeable and we had a great chat. I met Rachel the manager and another lady (sorry I can't recall her name!) and they spent time making sure I found what I needed.
