I had one bite kids ate the rest......chicken wrap was full of some sort of black salsa which is no good for kids.......very unorganised and customers service was terrible .staff are very rude amd have jo attention to detail at all amd there was about 15 of them ..after being recommended this place and seen it via YouTube we had a disappointing visit today amd 60pound down...safe to say won't be going there again amd will not be recommending it...

While edible, their food is so incorrect I do not think the owner has a clue how anything Lebanese/Levantine he is serving is meant to be prepared. I recomend Wassouf Lounge nearby instead.

I ordered on the phone:

  1. Mehkanik (Lebanese beef mini sausages wth pinenuts & spices) instead I received Frankfurters in pastry (???) "a sausage is a sausage" according to the owner.
  2. a serving of Lebneh (extra thick yoghurt, served in a bowl with tyme and olive oil) instead I received a slice of bread with a thin smearing of plain lebneh.
  3. Foul Medanes - chick pea and bean stew for some reason he thinks this dish is prepared with chillis.

While all edible, it is all completely incorrect, and the only reason he gets customers is because the locals dont seem to know better or what they are missing if these dishes were served correctly, as can be found in countless Lebanese restaurants across London.

Furthermore when I called him back to complian, not only did he come up with the "a sausage is a sausage" gem, he accused me of being a different person from who made the original order, and was completely incalcatrant to his recipes being all over the place. If you want Mediterranian food go to Wassouf Lounge further up...

Went during the heatwave week, was disappointed as staff were not attentive and things were brought out to us in drips and drabs including cutlery and condiments(we had to ask for them). Tables was positioned to far from sofa seating and could not be moved even though i tried. Myself and my daughter had to hang off the edge of the sofa to eat the food. The ambience was not very nice and upbeat, no music playing. Where it is open shop front smokers sit on outside smoking and it the smoke comes inwards on the the non smokers which is anoying. The food was nice and flavoured, good choice of foods, we had pizza and manakeesh, burger and chips meal with a tubouleh salad . Everything was nice and presented well. We had cakes and mint tea the selection is good for North African cakes and fresh, they were all freshly made and this was a bonus. The mint tea was not authentic and I had to mix it up myself to get a good flavour. We travelled for 50 minutes to this place and another 50 back home again especially to try this place. Will not come again as it was not what I expected. Disappointed due to lack of...

Despite the incredulous price tag, the cake was just mediocre. I did get my hot water ( 1st time around), but was completely forgotten and overlooked when I asked for a 2nd. A demi tasse of hot water proved to be quite hard to source that in excess of 20 minutes later it has not arrived. My companions enjoyed their Americano and Herbal tea. Nice place to meet up for a chat, although due to the open frontage it can be quite cold. Like sitting outdoors as no part of the inside is shielded from the elements. Staff could be a but more helpful when asking what unmarked dishes are. Yes I did ask about four or five times for different items, but provide labels then I won't need to ask. The cashier seemed as though I was bothering her by asking the questions. I merely needed to make an informed choice. This vist was quite disappointing from the last where I was so enthusiastic about this place. The difference should not be so stark .

If you’re looking for a hidden gem in London, Jaffa Bake House is definitely worth a visit. I recently tried their meatball tajine and it was out of this world. The flavours were incredible, perfectly spiced with just the right balance of heat and sweetness with the bread. The meatballs themselves were succulent and tender, and the sauce with vegetables was rich and aromatic with a depth that lingered long after the last bite. It’s clear that they put a lot of care into their cooking, using top-quality ingredients and traditional methods. The atmosphere of the place is warm and cozy with a relaxed vibe that makes you feel right at home. The prices are very reasonable and staff members are very caring. Even if you’re not a fan of Middle Eastern and North African flavours, this is a must-try. I can’t wait to go back and sample more from their menu. Highly recommended!
