UPD: After the owner's response I decided it's worth giving another shot – I find it valuable when people care. So I had coffee there about 6 times within a month and was pleasantly surprised. Although once or twice it was a bit bitter on the top (latte) but the other times it was smooth, delicate and always single-shot :) Also, once I showed up 3 minutes before their closing time (literally) and was still served which made me very happy (and charged with caffeine to keep me going in a busy workday).

Thank you, it's my favourite coffee spot once again. If it's consistently good overtime, I will gladly update this review to 5 stars :)

It used to be one of my favourite coffee shops in London - I loved the concept of different types of beans and filter coffee. But since I started drinking late, I’ve been disappointed: one day it’s nice and smooth, another it’s burned and bitter. It doesn't taste great even with one shot of espresso instead of two (although once they forgot about my request and made it two-shots 🤷‍♀️ - they weren’t even busy, I was the only waiting customer).

Tbf, I'm very picky when it comes to coffee, I'm pretty sure for a London standard it’s a very nice spot to get caffeinated. But in my opinion, it got worse than they...

Very good filter coffee, oat latte and matcha oat latte - we all had different drinks and they were all very good!

Their filter coffee uses medium-light roast beans. A good filter coffee needs to be brewed with lighter roasting coffee beans and they nailed it. The coffee didn't taste sour and had light fruity taste. The colour looked right too! Light ish see through brown colour 👌🏻👌🏻

Their oat latte was incredibly smooth. It was such a treat! And it was a pretty big cup too! Great value for money!

The matcha oat latte looked and tasted beautiful! This was not some weak matcha that gets covered by the taste of oat milk.

They also have lots of other healthy drink options. It is one of the rare independent coffee shops with more seats inside!

What a great find! I'll definitely...

Fair reviews of coffee places are often tainted with first impression rose stuff...and when does that rose ever really lead to a lasting marriage? This review then doesn't afford this place the chance to get into a multiple date groove. I'm giving the latte the benefit of the doubt...I should have taken it as a flat white..I would have had more bean oil flaves come through...but the bonsoy was handled as well as a whalers harpoon, though the presentation was flawed, but not fatally. The scroll was a solid product, well stored out of the aim of a 5yo that coughed like 19th century coal miner/minor. The cold brew was lacklustre, with a straw that adds theatre to a glass with no actors of flavour. Popular with locals, this could be yours after...

We wanted to get some proper specialty coffee before going to British museum and this was the right choice to do so. Kafi offers 2 different coffees for espresso and several more for V60. We tried doubleshots and they were very nice, funky and fruity. I would definitely come back. The real specialty coffee you are looking for. There were enough tables to sit, it was comfortable here. There us even one large table in the second room, so enough space even for a bigger group.
